I thought that I was going to be completely and utterly mad about what I saw but I said the first thing that came to my mind, "Aww! You two are now a couple." I squealed and everybody looked at me like I'd grown another head. "What?" I asked but they kept quiet and might I add that Derek was the most dumbstruck out of all of them.

Leah cleared her throat and looked anywhere but at me. She's scared to meet my eyes and I don't blame her. I have a very mean stare that says I-can-look-straight-through-you-with-no-problem-and-with-no-effort-at-all-and-I-can-see-into-your-soul.

"You--You're not mad?" she asked and I shook my head. I wasn't mad because, honestly, I was glad that they are together so that I don't have to be the one to break the bad news. Well, this romance between you and him lasted long, didn't it? And here we thought that he was the one? A voice said sarcastically inside my head and I agreed with it. So much for a cute couple name. Derek deserved better and I couldn't ask for anyone better than Leah for him. Leah doesn't play around she sticks with her guy and if anyone or anything tries to separate them from each other then they might as well have a death wish because that's what they are gonna be if they go with that plan. She's also not one to hold grudges but you'll definitely be on her bad side. BAD IDEA!

"No, Leah I'm not mad, in fact I'm happy," I laughed out and both of them released a breath of relief, "Derek is more like a brother to me and please don't take it the wrong way but I'm glad that you two are together because even though Derek and I had gotten a little...affectionate I would rather still have a friendship relationship than a relationship that probably wouldn't have lasted that long. I love him but more as a brother. So you have my blessing. Stop being so worried. If I'm mad then it's because you two didn't tell me that you liked each other so much! And by the by... I still would like to have my brother that still is protective over me and holds my hands now and then." I finished and everyone was smiling.

"Thanks, Avie." Derek said, speaking up for the first time. I nodded. "Just don't change." I warned him and he gulped. Remembering that I had like more than 30 bags to carry inside I groaned but got an idea.

"Leah, do you still have those sweets that your dad made that makes a person hyper??" I asked and she laughed. "Yeah, why?" I shrugged.

"Well...you see I have like a truck load of shopping bags and I need a whole load of energy to carry them inside." as soon as I mentioned 'shopping bags' Leah was out the room getting the sweets. The group burst out laughing and Derek joined in. She returned later with two red sweets and we ate them. Adrian paled and stepped away from us. We gave him an evil smile which sent him running to the other side of the room.

"Whoa, dude! What's the rush man, is there trouble somewhere?" Kyle asked as Adrian jumped over the couch and ducked down far enough that only his eyes were visible over the back of the couch.

"There will be," he replied while Leah and I finished our sweets, "Wait for it..." Adrian dragged out and the group looked curious to see what would happen. Ten seconds after we finished our sweets the rush kicked in. We started jumping up and down, talking fast and laughing like mad people.

"Oh my gosh, let's go get the bags!" Leah shouted out and I nodded fast.

"Let’s! Oh and lets like dump it out in the lounge where the movie is and sort out the stuff." I countered and then we ran out the front door.

"Shit!" Adrian swore. "She bought me underwear."

Leah and I had finished unloading Adrian's car and were now sitting in front of the TV going through all of bags. We counted as we brought them in and the total bags we had were 56 bags, excluding the food bags. Turns out while Adrian and I were gone the pizza came and the group ate it up so we ordered a couple more. Something was missing and after a minute of thinking it clicked.
