Breathe...Swipe...Breathe...Walk...Search...Check...Credit Card...30 minutes left...

"Avie, come on! We've been walking around now for an hour and my legs hurt!" Adrian complained to me for the tenth time.

"It's not my fault that you placed this bet on me so suck it up, we have about six shops left!" I called back to him and he groaned. We've been going in and out stores that caught my attention and each one had been thoroughly searched. I've bought very single thing that I wanted and what Leah would've wanted too. Adrian didn't notice-I think- but I bought things for him too but the only time he seemed to pay attention was when he had to sign all the pay checks. I even bought a pair of heels that cost $1600 and he didn't say anything. All the suspicions about this card not being limitless were long gone...

We entered a new shop and I jumped up and down on the spot when I saw all of the spiked heels and Adrian groaned. "Not another shopping craze..." I laughed and a girl with blonde hair came up to us.

"Hi there! How can I help you?" she asked us and I practically shoved my bags onto Adrian. "Watch these and I'll call you when I need you. Don't worry... this will go faster than you think. I know what I want here." I said and turned my attention back to the girl.

"Hi!" I said to her and her attention shifted from Adrian to me. "My boyfriend here just placed a bet that I couldn't max out his credit card in a specific time and I probably will need help in attaining all the pairs of shoes that I want." When I mentioned the words 'my' and 'boyfriend' her smile faltered and her eyes turned hard.

"Sure, let me get someone better suited for your task." she said and I nodded. I never saw her again.

A minute later a new girl was with me and we got to work....

"Geez, I don't think that I want to look at the bill when it comes." Adrian said as we exited out of the last store. The last store didn't count as clothes but it was what I wanted and what we'd need when we get home: a gallery of sweets and sugar delights.

I laughed, "Come on, it wasn't that bad besides... wait until prom comes and then we'll see how high the price will be." Adrian looked appalled for some reason. "What?"

"Prom? Seriously?" he asked and I nodded. "Yeah, got a problem?" He shook his head and smiled at me.

"No, but you do realize that you bought at least six pairs of Jimmy Choos and five pairs of that... what's it now? Louis Votton? And some other designers that I don't know the names of. I don't think that prom will be more expensive." I considered his answer for a second and shook my head.

"Nah, we'll see after prom." with that we bought truck loads of food and decided that it was time to go home.

We had so much fun on the way home and we actually learned a lot about each other. There were jokes and some sad stories but then the mood would lift when Adrian would sing in a fake voice to a song. What really made our night was when we got mooned at a robot. I had no idea how it happened but I found a dart on the floor and threw it into the guy's 'moon'. He yelped and pulled it out just as the lights turned green. I tuck my head out the window and shouted, "Bull's eye!" and Adrian erupted into a huge fit of laughter.

The sound sent waves of pleasure rushing through me. When we got home we were still laughing about some stupid thing and walked in on something that would scar me for life: Derek playing tonsil hockey with Leah.

"What the hell!?" Adrian and I screamed at the same time and covered our eyes with our hands. We decided that we would first ask for help with the bags so our hands were free.

"Leah, what the hell?" I asked and I heard both of them curse. "Busted!" I heard one of Adrian's friend shout and I smiled a bit.

"Okay, we're done." I took my hands away and sighed. Derek looked guilty while Leah looked embarrassed.

"Leah, we have a lot to talk about."
