This time waking up I was sprawled on the couch that I remembered Gardner laying on. I felt a warm hand grasping mine. I tried to sit up, making Gally stir. He was sitting on the ground holding my hand tightly. He turned around at my movement.
"Willow!" He looked drained. His eyes full of genuine worry. He leaned over me, still grasping my hand and kissed my forehead involuntary. My cheeks began to tinge pink. He stood back up quickly, realizing what he did, his cheeks began to flush, as they did the first time we kissed. He never let go of my hand helping me to sit up. Once seated at the end of the couch, Gally plopped down next to me. Closer than I was expecting, but I wasn't complaining. "I'm sorry." He says so quietly I could barley hear him. "I was completely in the moment and forgot about your shoulder." He was rabbling on. I could see him staring at me out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look at him after he was done talking. His eyes where wide and full of.. longing. I leaned my head on his shoulder, tired from all that happened. This was the time both of us needed someone to lean on the most. I remember Gally and I confessing our feelings for each other back in the maze. I felt like it was apart of another life, it seemed like so long ago.
"Gally?" I questioned, worried about what his reaction would be to my next question.
"Hmm?" He replied.
"Do you feel the same?" I raised my head from his shoulder so I could see his face. His head whipped around at my words.
"What?" His face full of confusion.
"You know what." I mumbled and looked down at my hands, beginning to pick the dirt from my fingernails. He took one my hands out of my lap to draw my attention towards him.
"Your talking about us aren't you?" He asked with a hint of fear of what he was saying. I looked up into his eyes and nodded. He grabbed my face before I could look down again. He crashed his lips to mine. It seemed like he hadn't done that in forever, yet it still felt like the first time we meet, butterflies. That was his answer to my questions. Once he pulled away he sat and stared into my eyes. His green eyes were glowing.
"I love you more than I have ever have Willow." He spoke with such ease. My breath hitched in my throat. He had never said that before.
