Alexander POV~

Three days later

I haven't seen Elbertina in the office lately. I'm kind of worried, because the project is having a few problems.

I went to my private secretary.

"Hello Mrs. Clark. Can you tell me what's my schedule for today." I said while walking to my office. Then sitting down into my chair and looking though the papers on my desk.

"Yes, Mr. Piras. You have a meeting today with both companies, that will be in two hours." Mrs. Clark said while scrolling through her tablet.

"Mrs. Clark. Then will you tell me when will Miss. Hazeldine will be coming to the office for the meeting?" I said looking up at her.

"I don't know Mr. Piras." she said.

I waved my hand instructing her to leave the room. I turned my chair around and looked outside to find the skyscrapers.

Elbertina POV~

I haven't been to work for three days now, because of Catalina who got an ear infection in her left ear. I've been talking to the hospital trying to find out why it hasn't gone away. The doctor that was helping us said, "She does have an ear infection, but this kind of ear infection can damage her hearing severely. When she get's older she won't be hearing from her left ear."

That's why work hasn't been my top priority right now.

"Mrs. Hazeldine you have a meeting in two hours." My private secretary told Allicia to tell me.

"Thanks Allicia. We'll leave in just a bit."

I walked to Catalina's crib to kiss her forehead. Then I walked to Anna who was playing with Adriano. He looked at me with his big eyes, then I kissed him goodbye on his cheek.

We went to the car and then to the office. I went to mine and Alexander's office to see what we will have to talk about at the meeting.

"Where have you been these past three days?!" He said yelling at me the moment I walked into the room.

He really needs to treat people better. I don't like how he believes that he can make anyone do anything.

"I had some personal things to work out." I said looking into his eyes.

"Was it that important that you missed two meetings?"

"Yes, it was. Also for your information my daughter has an ear infection that can harm her hearing when she gets older." I said with a sarcastic smile. "So yell at me about not being here for three days. GO AHEAD!"

I walked to my desk to see two piles of papers to sign. I went through all of them and singed the ones that needed to be signed, and put the ones for the meeting into one folder. It starts in about 45 minutes.

I looked over to Alexander's desk to see what he was doing. He was sleeping in his chair. I let him sleep for a little bit long until it was 20 minutes left until the meeting would start.

I walked up to his desk, and grabbed one of the books from one of his shelves and slammed in onto his desk. He woke up immediately with a little jump.

I started laughing at how he jumped a little bit from the sound of a book falling.

I looked at him and he wasn't even a little happy about what I did.

"Why the hell did you do that, and why didn't you just shake me instead?" He said with a mad glare.

"Because it's almost time for the meeting." I said grabbing my things for the meeting and walking away.

When I walked out of the office Allicia came up to me, and started walking with me. There was silence for a little bit until Allicia broke the silence.

"So what was all that yelling about."

*long sigh*

"Alexander was yelling at me about how I missed three days, and missing two meetings."

"Wow, the only thing I could hear was "GO AHEAD!!" when I came into the floor."

Alexander POV~

The meeting

When Elbertina's team finally walked into the room, my team looked at Elbertina immediately after she walked through the doors.

I didn't notice until now that she was wearing a black dress that was above her knee paired with black heels. And I surely didn't notice that the dress wrapped around all of her curves perfectly.

I can't think about things like this, right now. Elbertina is a family friend and also has children of her own.

When everyone sat down in their seat. We could finally start the meeting.

Elbertina POV~

I was talking to my team before the meeting started. When my team walked in I could see that everyone was looking at me.

I don't like how people will stare at me like I don't know they are staring.

We all sat down at our seats and began the meeting. When Alexander was finished talking I got up to the front of everyone.

"I was looking through all the files that I had to sign, but there was something strange with a few of them. I need to say, how could my team agree with these stupid papers? Because from what I know about my company we do not agree with things like this."

I threw the folder full of papers. Everyone from Alexander's team looked at the papers then looked at each other. I looked at my team and from their facial expressions I could tell that they didn't know about this.

"What's wrong with the papers then?" One of members in Alexander's team stood up.

"What's wrong with the papers is that what you believe is good technology isn't. If you have something else, you can say it right now."

"Yes, I do. I want to say that you are just an eighteen year old that doesn't know anything about business."

"Oh really, then if you guys feel like I don't know anything business related. Let me tell you this, it's not about business it's about my company's technology and the kind of technology we use. "

"How can it only be ab-

"Please sit down Mr. Smith." Alexander said interrupting him.

I didn't go to school today because of me having an eye doctors appointment. So I thought I should write this chapter. I hope that everyone loves this chapter.
