Chapter Nine

Alexander POV

3 months later

It's only been 3 months and I feel lonely. I miss the way Elbertina smiled, and laughed. When she spoke I would sometimes hear a little accent, when she spoke some specific words. I want to see her. I want to make her smile. I want to make her laugh.

I was heading to my car so I could get home and sleep. When I got out of my private elevator, I saw the long light brown hair that I have missed for months now. I was about to tap her shoulder, instead I hugged her.

"I missed you." I said after a few awkward seconds. "What did you say Alexander. Did you just say that you missed me?" She said breaking the hug.

"I didn't say anything. So...what are you doing here? I thought you were already moving back to Georgia." I said trying to change the subject. Why did you have to say that Alexander? What is wrong with you all of a sudden. "Whatever Alexander. I'm actually here, because I left something in your office. I was about to go up to your office, but the secretary said I couldn't. I tried telling her who I am, but she didn't believe me."

I could tell by her tone of voice that she was pissed with the secretary. Then I remembered how the secretary was looking like she had just seen death when I saw them talking earlier. What did she say the secretary to make her have that face?

"Then you can go to my office, and look, I'm sorry about this." I looked at the secretary, I could tell that she was very sorry about the situation. "Thank you Alexander." She started walking until I grabbed her wrist. "Elbertina, when are you moving to Georgia?"

"I'll be moving back to Georgia in a week." I let go of her wrist. "Oh, okay." Then she walked away to my office.

I want to talk to her before she leaves. I need to know something.

1 A.M.

I'm so stupid. How can Elbertina be awake at one in the morning, and why am I arguing to myself in my car standing in front of her door. One minute I'm in my car driving to the office for some late night work and the next thing I know I'm in front of her door.

I finally knocked on the door. I was surprised that someone opened the door. I didn't think that Elbertina would answer the door at this time.

"Elbertina is not awake at this time." The person that opened the door. She was tall and had short dark brown hair. "Oh- I'm sorry. I didn't really mean to come at this time."

She looked at me like I wasn't telling the truth. Well, it was half true. I didn't   mean to come to her house, but I did want to come see her so I could talk to her.

"I will tell Elbertina that you're here to see her." She walked away to get Elbertina. I walked around her living room. She had pictures of her family and friends, but I couldn't stop looking at the picture where she was holding Adriano and Catalina.

"What are you doing here?" I jumped a little at the sound of her voice. Elbertina's voice sounded very sexy, like she has been screaming from amazing sex. Her hair was a mess, like she has been having rough sex. Her lips looked so plum, after doing some "things".

"Um- I need to talk to you." I finally plucked up the courage to say something. I couldn't focus while she's looking like this.

"Why in the fucking hell would I want to talk to a person at one in the morning?" I couldn't believe how Elbertina could use words like these. When she's an innocent angel. "I'm very sorry, but I desperately had to talk to you about a few things. If you want, we can meet up at a café in the morning?"

After a few minutes of her thinking she finally said something. "Sure, why not. Now can you get out of my apartment? I really want to go back to my comfortable bed."

I was on my way out of her house and she was about to close the door until. "Ella. Why did you leave the bed?" It caught me off guard. His voice was very low and rough. I couldn't believe that Elbertina would have sex with anyone.

"Someone came to talk to me. We can go back to bed now."

"Okay." I heard him kiss her somewhere.

At the café

I couldn't fall asleep when I got home. I couldn't get my mind out of the gutter. I kept having the picture of Elbertina in skimpy clothing. I need to  stop having these images. She can be with anyone she pleases. I don't care about her love life.

When Elbertina finally got to the café it was already 11:30 A.M. When she walked in I felt a mixture of happiness and jealously. I don't want her to be with another guy.

"Alexander, what do you want to talk about?" She sat down, and by the looks of it she didn't get a lot of sleep last night. "I want to talk to you about last night."

"You mean. How you came to my apartment at one in the morning?" I couldn't tell her what I really wanted to talk about. "If that's all you want to talk about. Then I have to go. I'm moving and I need too pack a few things."

She was on her way out until a guy entered the café. He hugged Elbertina and kissed her forehead. "Sis are we leaving now? You still need to get a few things. Also you need some new curtains. I accidentally ripped the curtains last night. Oh- hello Alexander." He waved at me, and I said hello to him.

Elbertina's brother was the guy from last night. I got jealous over her brother. God I'm such an idiot. I can't believe it. I made myself believe that Elbertina was sleeping with someone.

Sorry I couldn't write for about a week.  (I think it was a week) My Mom got sick one day, my brother got sick the next day, and I got sick the next day. I couldn't write that day. Plus I had semester testing on that week.

I hope you guys love Chapter Nine and cannot wait for Chapter Ten.
