Elbertina POV

The day of the dinner with the Piras family 

I've been ignoring all of my calls from Alexander and when I had to drop off the twins with Alexander I would always make Anna take the twins to Alexander's penthouse. I don't really want to talk to him, right now. Just thinking about when I saw Alexander and his fiancé Adelia Torres. It makes me sick in my stomach just thinking about them two.

I was now getting ready for the dinner with the Piras family. I got dressed into a simple burgundy dress. I put on some black silhouette So Kate from Christian Louboutin. I also grabbed a black wool coat. I had my hair in a low bun with a few strands of hair out to frame my face. My makeup was a burgundy smoky eye look. I was putting on dangling earrings for the other ones were already put in yesterday. I had 5 earrings on my right ear and 6 in my left ear. 

"Mommy! Can you help me pick a dress?" said Vera running into my room. 

I bent down to pick her up in my arms. "Sure, sweetie." I said walking to her room and into her closet. 

"What about this instead?" I said giving her a gray sweater and a black skirt and tights with black boots. I also handed her a scarf and a long black wool coat. That Benjamin bought for Vera when we went to Korea for a few days in October. "Do you like it?" 

"Yes!"

"Then get changed, okay." I said and she nodded her head. 

"Mommy could you also help with my earrings? I can't get them on." She said and I nodded my head yes. 

She then got dressed and I had to help her put on her earrings for her. They were these gold flower studs and for her second piercing I put on diamond studs.

It was last year when she got her upper lobe. I remember when Vera told me she wanted to get her upper lobed pierced. She cried to me for about a month telling me that Alice got hers done and she wanted hers done too. So she got until a month later and she was so happy about it. She later on told me that she wanted to get her ears pierced just like mine. And I told her that she could get her ears pierced like mine until she's 15. 

When we both went down stairs Adriano was waiting for us. He was looking at his new tablet that he wanted. He was already dressed in a gray sweeter vest and under a white button up shirt, black jeans, and was wearing the same black wool coat that me and Vera are wearing.

Adriano got up from the couch when he saw us walking towards him. All three of us walked out side to get into the car. My driver drove us to Mr. and Mrs. Piras to their penthouse.

When we got to their penthouse I knocked on their door. When the door opened I was expecting Mr. or Mrs. Piras, but it was Alexander who opened the door. 

"Daddy!" said Vera running towards him and Adriano still at my side. 

"Please come in." He said letting us inside. He then guided us to the living room of his parents penthouse. On the couch there was Mr. and Mrs. Piras, Francesca, Alesia, and Adelia. 

Adelia got up from the couch and walked over to Alexander and grabbed his hand. "It's nice seeing you here Ella." Adelia said. 

"Alexander can you please come over here with me." Said Francesca walking in to I believe was the dinning room. Alexander walked away and went to see what his sister wanted. 

"Mommy, can we go with auntie Alesia." Said Vera. I nodded my head and both of them went off with Alesia. When they got there Alesia gave them a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. 

"What are you even doing here, Ella?" Adelia said making me face her way. 

"Well, the twins are Alexander's children. So I have to be here even if you don't want me to be here." I said walking away from her and walking to Alesia. 

The twins and Alesia were playing around and laughing when I walked next to her. Alesia started talking about how her husband was doing in the hospital. Also how they're expecting a baby and what names she like if it would be a boy or a girl. 

"We should all get going to the dinning room. The food is ready now." Mrs. Piras said coming out of the kitchen. 

I didn't notice that Alexander and Francesca were out of the kitchen and that Alexander was sitting with Adelia. I glanced towards him again when I got up from the couch. We both caught each other looking at each other. He then turned around quickly and went back to listening to what ever Adelia was telling him. 

 We walked into the dinning room and I sat on Alexander's left side. A few seconds later we started the dinner. Everyone started talking and then we started laughing of a joke that Alexander's cousin said. 

"Adelia how do you know Ella?" Said Francesca on the other side of the dinning table.

"Oh, we went to school together. Until Ella graduated a year early from high school. But we haven't seen each other in a very long time. It was only about a week ago that we got to see each other again." said Adelia. She was talking in this fake voice that I always remembered from high school. 

We later on went back to the living room. "Ella, could you play for us on the piano? Just a little bit." Mrs. Piras said pointing to the kawai grand piano. "I hear that your family love to learn many interments."

"I don't really play a lot. I only play when the twins want me to." I said.

The twins came up to me and both of them holding my right arm. "Please, Mommy. Please, play for us." said Adriano and Vera at the same time. 

 "I'll play then." I said smiling at Mrs. Piras

I walk towards the kawai grand piano and sat down. Alesia walked towards me and handed me a blanket to cover my lap. I then got ready to play moonlight sonata.

It's one of my favorite pieces of music and it's the twins favorite pieces.

Moonlight Sonata is actually one of the pieces I played for a piano competition. I got first place for that competition and second place went to Adelia. 

When I finished playing and looked at the other people. They were shocked and didn't say anything until about a few seconds passed. All of them started clapping. Throughout all the clapping I could hear some of them say "wow that was amazing", "it was so beautiful" and "she almost made me cry."

"That was beautiful, Elbertina." Alexander said when he walked to my side. 

I was hoping that he couldn't see blush a bit. I didn't want him to make me feel this way. The way like we have something, because we don't have anything going on. That's because he has a fiancé.
