Chapter Twelve

Alexander POV

Three days later

It's only been a few days and I thought my jealousy was becoming better but I still can't stand him. Every  time I zone out I can help but think about him touching Elbertina. 

Why are they even so close? It doesn't make any sense? How can I be stuck in the sidelines when it comes to a woman? I'm always the one getting the girls and somehow when I want this one so badly I can't have her.

My phone rang. I didn't look at the caller ID, because I knew my mom was suppose to call me at this time. 

"Hey, Alexander. Can you come to my office?"  

"Who is this and how do you have my number?"

"Ohh, sorry. I forgot to tell you it's Sebastian. Elena gave me your number." 

"Okay. Why do you want me to come to your office?"

"I need to give you something in person. So can you come my office, please."

"Fine. I will be their in a few minutes." 

15 minutes later

When I finally got out of the elevator, I got lost and couldn't figure out which way to go. I started walking a bit more to see if I could find someone to tell me where his office is. When I was turning the corner to another hall I heard a person whispering. I could only faintly understand what that person was saying.

I heard running footsteps behind me. I turned around to see a little boy with black hair and brown eyes maybe 6 or 7 years old. The little boy started calling for his mom. He then turned the corner and ran to.

Elbertina!

"Adriano, what are you doing here? I thought you and Vera were waiting in your Uncle's office?" 

"I wanted to-to stay with mommy." 

"Okay, but you can't leave your sister alone." 

"I-I know mommy." 

They both stopped talking to look up and see a little girl. The little girl is Vera. I turned my body, facing the other way. Why were they sighing? I walked away to find Sebastian's office. Finally 10 minutes later, I ended up at the front door of his office.

"Alexander, what took you so long? I was starting to think you wouldn't come." Sebastian said whilst I walked into the room.

"Sorry man, I got lost trying to find your office." I said while running my hand through my hair. "So, what did you want to tell me?"

"I wanted to ask if you'd like to go to a party with me? Only a few people will show anyway."

Why does he want me to go?

"Do I have to go?" 

"No, but Elena will be there. Plus, we're friends and I wanted my friend with me." He looked at me with his puppy eyes. If I see Elbertina there then I could talk to her. "Fine I'll go Sebastian. At what time should I be at the party?" 

"You have to be there at 9:30 p.m. my place, you have to wear casual clothes." 

At 10:00 p.m.

I was about to knock on Sebastian's front door, until someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a hug. I was shocked by the sudden contact.

"You made it. I thought you wouldn't come." When the person finally let go. I immediately looked to see who hugged me. It was Sebastian. Why would he even hug me, is it a family thing or what.

"Sorry I'm late. I had to do some few things before coming here." He then nodded his head.

We both walked into his kitchen to find someone. "Elena, there you are. Why didn't you come back?" Elbertina turned her face to see us.

Elbertina's long light brown hair cascaded down to her back. I looked up and down to see what she's wearing. I stopped to slowly look at how her shirt was an off the shoulder black tight shirt. I looked down to see her shorts that were multi grey plaid and how it accentuated her long legs. I couldn't help myself but just stare at her. 

Sebastian coughed and made me look towards him. "I'm going to see the others."

"Okay." 

Elbertina turned around and tried to reach some candy on the top cabinet. She started to struggle a bit, I walked towards her. She turned around to face me, I could see her blush from the sudden contact. "Was this the one you wanted?" I said holding a bag of Pikotas. 

"Y-Yeah t-those are the ones. Thanks." She said while looking up to the bag I'm holding. I lowered my hand to give her the bag. My hand and hers touched just slightly, startling me as I felt a sudden electricity in my hand.  

"Sorry, I didn't mean to drop the candy." I crouched down to get the bag, but instead I got hit in the head. 

"I'm so sorry Alexander. I didn't know you were getting the bag." Elbertina placed the candy on the counter so she could examine my head. "I'm so sorry."

"It's fine Elbertina. You don't need to look at my head it's fine." I said while holding her wrist and looking into her distinctive blue/brown eyes. 

"We should go and see the others." She got my grip to loosen up and the next thing I know she walked away with the Pikotas in her hand. I walked slowly toward the other room where I could hear many people laughing. 

"Elbertina, how are your parents?" A woman said.

"My parents are doing well after the divorce. My mom has built a restaurant here in Georgia and is living in one of the privet houses that she only knows. And my dad is dating someone. So, both of them are doing well." Elbertina said while opening her bag of Pikotas

"Elbertina, we were also wondering  if you're dating anyone?" The woman next to her said. When that woman spoke those words I choked on my own air. I started to cough and had to drink a glass of water to stop myself choking.

"I don't have a boyfriend. Why are you all so curious?" Elbertina said whilst sitting down on the couch. When she said that I could feel a warm feeling gradually growing inside me.

"Aren't you dating Sebastian?" The same woman said with a shocked expression. 

"Sebastian and I did date once, but it was only because our parents wanted us to." After she said that the entire room became dead silent. Everyone looked at her, completely shocked. 

"For how long?" 

"We only dated for about three months until we both broke it off." Elbertina said before eating another piece of candy.

"Alexander, do you want a beer?" 

"Sure."

The next morning

Where am I? Who's room is this?
