Ryan's pov:
We get to Lara's house and get some drinks.
The doorbell rings and somebody opens the door.
Jenni walks in, followed by Danni then Georgia.
My mouth drops open.
She looks gorgeous.
She walks over.
"Hi Ryan." She says.
"Hi...You look...uh...you-"
"Fucking hell Ryan just tell the girl how drop dead gorgeous she looks!" Danni says.
"Uh yeah. Georgia you look amazing." I say.
She hugs me and I put my arms around her. I wish it could last forever. But it only lasts a few seconds because she pulls away.
/3 hours later/
I lose sight of Georgia so I go looking for her.
I go into the kitchen and she's sitting on the counter, her legs wrapped round some guy.
She's totally drunk and he's taking advantage of her.
"Oi mate, taking advantage isn't cool. Leave her alone." I say.
He steps away from Georgia.
"She your girlfriend?" he asks.
"Yeah. So piss off." I say. He walks past me, out of the kitchen.
"Come on Ryan, it's a party, let me have fun." She slurs.
"Having sex when you're drunk isn't fun." I tell her.
"Fine then. But if I wanna have fun and you've told someone that you're my boyfriend we can always make a show of it." She says.
I can't deny that it's tempting. But she's drunk and she won't remember this tomorrow.
"You're drunk, you don't know what you're saying. Come on, I'll take you home." I say.
"No I wanna stay." She says.
She tries to get past me but I pick her up and fling her over my shoulder.
She tries slapping me but she's so drunk I can't even feel it.
We walk past the boys and girls.
"See you tomorrow guys." I say.
"He doesn't look very happy." I hear Adam say but I ignore his comment.
I drive Georgia back to her house and knock on the door. Her mum opens it.
"Oh, hello! You are?"
"Ryan. One of her friends. Sorry but Georgia had a little bit too much to drink. But don't worry, people always go overboard at their first party. She'll probably have a headache in the morning though." I say.
"Well thank you for looking after my daughter, young man." She says.
"It's no bother. Do you want me to carry her up?" I ask.
Before her mum can answer, Georgia mumbles a 'yes' so I walk inside and carry her up to her bedroom. I undress her and put her into her bed.
"Night Georgia." I say and kiss her forehead. But she grabs my jacket and lifts herself up to kiss my lips. She pulls me down beside her and carries on kissing me. She tries to take my jacket off but I pull away.
"You need to get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow Georgia." I say and kiss her lips one last time before leaving.
And the thing that hurt the most was knowing that she won't remember this at all tomorrow. Just when my feelings for her were starting to grow.
Georgia's pov:
/the next day/
I wake up with the worst headache and no recollection of the night before. Must've got hammered last night.
I pull some clothes on, put on some makeup to not make me look so I'll then I run for the bus. I get on and sit beside Ryan.
"Morning Ry!" I say.
"Hi Georgia. Headache?" he asks.
"Yeah. What happened last night?" I ask.
"Uh, nothing. Nothing interesting." He says.
"Why do I get the feeling you're not telling the truth?" I ask.
"I don't know." He says with a little bit of annoyance in his voice.
He doesn't speak to me for the rest of the journey.
We get off the bus and Ryan walks away from me. I remember the way to registration class so I head over there.
"Hi guys. What's up with Ryan? He doesn't seem happy with me." I say.
They all shrug their shoulders but I think they have an idea of what's wrong with him.
