Waterfall (Lawson fanfic)

Ryan

Ryan's pov:

She turns around.

It can't be, can it?

Oh it is.

Our eyes lock together.

I start to walk over to her.

Her features soften as I get closer.

"Hi Georgia." I say quietly.

"Um... hi." She replies.

"How have you been?" I ask her.

"Good thanks. You?"

"Fine. Just fine." I say to her.

She smiles at me and we fall into an awkward silence.

She surprises me by what she says next.

"I'd love to catch up with you soon. Can I have your number?" she asks me.

I try to stop myself from grinning but fail.

"Of course." I say and recite my number to her while she puts it in her phone.

We say goodbye and I walk away in the happiest mood I've ever experienced in a year.

Georgia's pov:

/2 days later/

Me and Ryan have been texting and we've arranged to meet today.

We're going for lunch and then we're going to see Adam, Andy and Joel afterwards.

It'll be good to see them too.

I spot Ryan instantly and my heart flutters.

He still makes me feel happy after all this time.

I wish I could forget what happened last year but unfortunately I can't.

I walk over to him and he smiles.

"Hi Ryan." I say to him.

"Hi Georgia. You look great." He compliments.

I blush.

"Thank you." We go into Frankie & Benny's and order our drinks.

We get chatting about everybody else.

I learn that Andy had a brain tumour and had to have operations to sort it out and luckily, everything is fine now.

The 4 guys are in a band named Lawson, dedicated to Andy's doctor for all he did.

Jenni and Adam are still together and Hannah will be 2 years old this year.

Danni and Andy got married earlier this year and Nat and Joel are still loved up.

So everyone's happy.

Apart from me and Ryan.

Ironic how this always happens to me, isn't it?

We go back to see the other guys.

I follow in behind Ryan.

"Hi guys." I say to them.

"GEORGIA!" Joel shouts and runs to hug me and Adam joins.

I can't contain my laughter.

I look over to Andy who just remains on the sofa, smiling weakly at me.

"Andy? You okay?" I ask him.

Tears fall from his eyes and he cries loudly.

"Shit, what did I do?" I mumble to Ryan under my breath.

"Ah, nothing. Danni's sent some papers to Andy for him to sign." Ryan tells me, trying to hint at something but I don't understand.

"Huh?" I ask.

Andy looks up at me, with a tear stained face and he finally speaks.
