Jenni's pov:
The kitchen door opens and Joel walks in.
I force a smile onto my face.
"Jen, what's wrong?" he asks me.
"I'm fine." I say.
"Jen, I've known you since year seven, I know when something's wrong." He says to me.
I sigh and turn to him.
"I'm scared that Adam doesn't want me anymore."
Joel laughs.
He laughs.
"Of course he wants you! He has a daughter with you." Joel points out.
"Not by choice! We never spoke about children until I got pregnant, it wasn't planned. I feel that Hannah's the only reason why Adam's still with me. He doesn't want to marry me or have more kids with me, I can't even remember the last time he told me he loved me. You know how much that sucks?" I ask.
Joel's silent, looking at me.
I turn away.
"It doesn't matter. I don't matter anymore. I just... everything seems to be great for everyone else. Danni and Andy have saved their marriage, Georgia and Ryan are giving their relationship another go and you and Nat are loved up. I have a daughter who has parents which aren't even close anymore. I've just... I've just bottled up all of my emotions and I can't take it anymore." I say before leaving the room and heading upstairs.
I collapse on my bed and fall asleep.
Adam's pov:
I look over at Joel.
He walks up to me and mutters in my ear,
"She doesn't suspect a thing."
I nod and Joel sits down.
At least she doesn't know what I'm up to.
She doesn't know at all.
I intend to keep it that way until
the right moment.
She mustn't know.
No one else must know either, or the whole thing will come out.
