Divorce

Andy's pov:

"But why does she want to divorce you?" Georgia asks me.

"We've been so busy with touring that I haven't really paid attention to her. She doesn't think a long distance marriage would work so she wants a divorce." I choke out the words.

Danni's been staying with her sister recently but she's been telling me that it's because her sister recently broke up with her boyfriend.

But in reality, it's because she wants to stay away from me.

She didn't even talk to me about it.

She just sent me the papers and text me explaining why she wants a divorce.

"Andy, aren't you going to do anything about it?" Georgia asks me.

"What can I do?"

"You know her best Andy. You know that divorce is the last thing she wants. So give her what she really wants. Attention."

I think it over, then wipe the tears from my eyes.

"I'll try it. Thanks Gee. And welcome back." I say and get up to hug her.

We pull away and I grab my coat before heading over to visit Danni.

Danni's pov:

There's a knock at the door so I get up and answer it as my sister Cerys is out.

Andy's on the other side.

I sigh.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Can I come in?" he asks me.

I nod and step aside as he walks in and pulls of his coat.

"Is this about the divorce?" I ask him, sitting down beside him.

"Yes. You know you don't want a divorce Danni. And neither do I. I'm sorry that I don't pay enough attention to you but I promise I will from now on. I'll do anything to save our marriage Danni. I love you." He says before waiting for my response.

"I know you do Andy but you'll say this and you'll be gone for months and I just... I can't deal with that." I admit.

"Please. I need you." He says, pleading with me.

He scoots over to me and puts his lips to my ear.

"At the end of the day, you never could resist me." He whispers.

He's right.

He slams his lips to mine and picks me up, pulling me into the bedroom.

"When's your sister gonna be back?" He asks me.

"2 hours."

"Ah good." He says and gently lays me down on the bed.

"I'm gonna prove to you that we shouldn't divorce." He says to me before kissing my neck and taking my top off.

"Danni, are you crying?"

"I just don't want to lose you. I'm really sorry." I say and he hugs me.

"Don't be sorry, we've worked through it. I love you and you'll never lose me." He assures me, rubbing my bare back and kissing my forehead.

I hear the front door open but we don't bother to move.

"DAN? YOU HERE?" Cerys calls.

I hear her walk upstairs and the door opens.

"Dann- Oh! Andy! I see you've had your way with my sister. Anyway, I'm glad you guys are together. I'll be downstairs." She says and walks out, shutting the door behind her.

I cuddle into Andy more.

"Go to sleep Danni." He says to me.

"I can't."

I'm scared he'll walk out and leave me.

"I'm not gonna leave you. Never again." He assures me and he starts singing quietly in my ear.

And before I know it, I'm falling asleep in his arms.
