Toaster Shopping

(It's about time I did a serious oneshot hahah)

Champagne, Cocaine, Gasoline, and most things in between~
The music pounded in Tom's headphones as he continued to sketch.
He was bored, (hint: WAS) so about two minutes ago he had drawn a simple line to see what he could come up with.
So far he had a male character in a hoodie, but he had yet to draw the hair and facial features.

"TOM!!" Edd burst through the door.
Tom jumped, dumping his sketchbook into the floor.
"What?" He paused his music and took his headphones off.
"LET'S GO SHOPPING!!"
"Why?"
"CAUSE WHY NOT!!"
"That's not a valid reason." Tom leaned over the edge of his bed and picked up his book.
"DO I NEED A VALID REASON?!"
"Yeah, you kinda do."
"Okay. The toaster's broken and I'm upset."
"You could have told me that in the first place."
"COME ON!! LETS GO TOASTER SHOPPING!!"
"Why does this concern me again?"
"CAUSE YOU IS GOOD AT PICKING OUT GOOD TOASTER!!"
"No, I is not." Tom mocked.
"YES YOU IS!!"
"Just bring Matt."
"Well fine, you'll be at the house alone." Edd smirked as he turned and started to walk away.
"NOPE!! I'M COMING!!" As much as Edd and Matt annoyed him, Tom couldn't be without them at the house. He hated being alone.
"Thought so." Edd said, halfway down the stairs, as Tom raced past him and out the door.

Tom stumbled along behind Edd and Matt as they looked at a bunch of toasters.
'Edd chose right now, when I was just about to finish my drawing, to shop for a new toaster?'  Tom thought.
Eventually, they found a sufficient toaster and were in the checkout line.
Bored, Tom's "eyes" gazed around the large store.
...and eventually landed on a short male figure in a red hoodie.
Coincidently (or not), he looked quite similar to Tom's drawing.
'Hmm, doesn't look TOO hard to draw..' Tom thought to himself as he studied the man's hair. It shot up in two spikes, and was an almost reddish-brownish color.

"Tom...TOM!!" Edd shouted. "STOP STARING AT THAT GUY YOU OBVIOUSLY THINK IS CUTE AND GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!!"
"Pssh, I'm not gay." Tom blushed as he trotted over to Edd and Matt, who were walking towards the exit.

If we go down, then we go down together~
Tom was back at home, listening to music, completing his sketch as Edd and Matt tested their new toaster downstairs.
'Okay, maybe he is cute...' Tom smiled as he colored his drawing. 'Goddammit, I didn't even get his name...'
