I woke up with a yawn and stretched as sunlight flowed through the window. Gideon and Pacifica were already awake and their beds were empty. The room was empty, so I changed out of my pajamas. My outfit was an aqua blue shirt and dark gray shorts. I decided to wear my (H/C) hair back in a ponytail so it wouldn't get in my face.

I headed downstairs where Pacifica and Gideon were eating breakfast. An adult, who I assumed to be Gideon's dad, was also in the room. A plate loaded with steaming pancakes awaited me at the table.

"Thanks, Gideon's dad!" I said as I ate.

"Oh, just call me Bud," he said. "Or, if you insist, Mr. Pines."

"Okay, Mr. Pines!" I finished my pancakes in silence and then headed outside with Gideon and Pacifica.

"So," Gideon said, "what do we do today?"

"I wanna go to the arcade and play Dancy Pants Revolution again!" Pacifica yipped, jumping on the spot.

"Pacifica, shouldn't we let (Y/N) pick what we should do?" Gideon interrupted.

I couldn't help my crazy side. I jumped into the air and yelled, "Dancy Pants Revolution!" Pacifica and I chanted the game over and over until Gideon yelled, "Okay, okay, stop! We can play Dancy Pants Revolution!" So Pacifica, Gideon, and I all headed to the arcade to play Dancy Pants revolution.

On the way there, Pacifica insisted that we stop my the center of town so that we could look around. As we were looking, two people, a boy and a girl, caught my eye. They were both wearing clothes with a light blue and black color scheme. As they were turning a corner out of sight, the boy and I made brief eye contact for a split second. He turned away and the two people were out of sight.

"Uh, Gideon, who were those people?" I asked.

"Hmm?" he replied, turning to me.

"There were two people over there just now...they were wearing all black and blue and stuff...:

"Oh, them?" Gideon replied nervously. "They're Dipper and Mabel Gleeful, or as they're known in town, the Telepathy Twins. They host magic shows at their Tent of Telepathy a lot, maybe, like, twice a week." Gideon looked around before whispering, "Rumor has it that those twins are half demon! I'd steer clear of them if I were you..."

I nodded. Suddenly, Pacifica tugged on my arm and pulled me toward the arcade. "Come on, guys!" she chirped. "The arcade's not open all day!"

We all whooped and laughed as Gideon terribly failed to beat Pacifica at Dancy Pants Revolution and even more when Pacifica didn't understand Fight Fighters. But I didn't forget about the Telepathy Twins. Who were those two?

Hours passed and we all left the arcade, exhausted. It was already 1:00, according to a girl we passed by. We decided to head to the mall and eat lunch.

While we were eating at the mall, I noticed the Telepathy Twins again. And again, Dipper seemed to be looking at me. He nudged his sister and now they were both looking. I looked away, hoping they would forget about me and walk away.

They didn't. The twins walked over to us and someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see the twins staring at me. "Y-Yes?" I asked timidly. I wasn't comfortable with strangers being this close.

Dipper Gleeful grinned. "Oh, sorry, thought you were someone else," he said. He put his face closer to mine and whispered into my ear. "You seem to be a very interesting girl," he whispered as my face heated up. "Come to our show tonight. It's on us."

Dipper grabbed my hand. After he let go I found that he'd given me a blue ticket. On the back of it it read, "I'll be expecting to see you there. -Dipper"

I turned back toward the table and ate again. My face was probably still red, because I noticed that Pacifica was grinning from ear to ear and Gideon looked concerned for me. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Did he hurt you or something?"

Before I could answer, Pacifica squealed, "OMG, (Y/N) has a crush on Dipper Gleeful!! I ship it so hard!"

"Oh, shut up!" I retorted, poking Pacifica and turning even more red. "His face was way to close for my comfort! Our faces were practically touching!" Pacifica only laughed even harder. "Besides, he only invited me to see the next show tonight. We should see it." I left out the part when he said I was an "interesting girl." What in the world could he be talking about...?
