wanna let y'all know I also just updated a new chapter of my brad story so go check it out as well if you'd like to :)

The dark sky started shaking around a light. I held onto Ross' arm as if he was about to disappear.

"What's happening?" I asked him above the wind's roaring.

Ross shook his head, his eyes locked on Ronnie.

She looked from him to me. "They'll take him. Thanks to you, he's fallen. He broke the rules." Ronnie started yelling through the storm. I let go of Ross and walked forward, knowing I had to stop this and that he wouldn't tell me how.

"What can I do?" I yelled back at Ronnie.

She looked at Ross, behind me. "She isn't like the other humans. That's why you fell in love when no one else tempted you. Let her make this decision."

"No!" Ross screamed behind me, and I could notice panic in the intensity of his voice.

I ran to Ronnie, fearing Ross could stop me.

"Tell me." I demanded.

She looked at me, while her sparkling features seemed to be more and more out of this world. The storm worsened. Her blonde hair flew violently everywhere, creating the appearance of how immortal she was.

"He can only be forgiven if you die. He's Death and he'll have to accept your soul. I can only do what it takes to kill your body, but it has to be Death who takes your soul."

"No! I won't take it! She's a new soul! My weakness won't doom her!" Ross roared behind me and his arms kept me away from Ronnie.

She ignored Ross' protest and kept looking at me while the storm just kept getting worse by the minute. I had a power here that Ross wouldn't bring himself to admit and Ronnie was too scared to tell me. She was trying. The friend I though I had made back in the nursing home, really could be my friend, after all. There was no evil intention in her eyes, unlike what I've seen in the eyes of the other transporter. She was silently begging for me. What was the election, anyway? If Ross refused to take my soul, how would she kill me?

I looked up to him and stroked his concerned face, so full of determination to save me, willing to be dragged to hell.

"I love you." I told him, making his face twist in pain.

"I'm not a man, so I don't have a heart that loves the way a human being's does. I'm an immortal god that lives with the supreme power because I have the keys to death. But you're my existence. I'm yours." Warm tears ran through my face whilst I looked at someone who felt something much stronger that the weak words I had just said. His arm was taken away from around me due to the strength of the wind storm and he remained like the god he was while some kind of dark dust formed around him.

My heart was rapidly beating on my chest and I ran to Ronnie, somehow knowing there was something she could do. She could take me, I could see it in her eyes. To me, that was a way of stopping this. Ronnie looked at me when I came to her and I noticed the hope in her eyes.

"Help him! Do whatever you can, but don't let them take him, please." I shouted above the loud noise. Ronnie nodded and looked over her shoulder.
