Hospital

Lucas's POV
We finally arrived at the hospital and I ran to the front desk.

"Hello. I'm here for Rebecca Friar. I'm her brother, Lucas Friar." I said with Maya next to me, both panicking.

"Rebecca Friar can't have any visitors right now." The lady said.

"What? You don't understand! He needs to see her! He doesn't even know what happened to her!" Maya said getting angry.

"Like I said, Rebecca Friar can't have any visitors. Now sit." The lady said angrily.

"Fine." Maya said as we walked away. Ella came over to us.

I hope you remember Ella is Rebecca's best friend.

"Ella, what happened? Who brought you here?" I said.

"My mom brought me here. She left for some work emergency. As for Rebecca, um....well I think and I think it's just me but I think she tried to kill her self." Ella said.

"What? What the fuck! Where's dad! Why did she kill her self?" I asked angrily. Maya was trying to calm me down.

"My mom called your dad. He can't come because he was busy at work. I'm going to tell you why she killed her self but I have feeling your going to call your dad a mean name." Ella said.

"Bastard." I muttered.

"There. He said it. Now go." Maya said.

"There's two reasons actually. She said one day that she was tired of being abused and how she was going to do something about it." Ella said.

"Then call the police! Don't kill yourself!" I said.

"You need to hear the other reason. These girls at school started a rumor that Rebecca lost her virginity to an older guy. People believed it and started calling her a whore."
Ella said about to cry. "I hate rumors like that."

"I can't believe it. Either my dad or these girls who probably don't know what the definition of whore is caused my sister to kill her self." I said.

"Oh and Lucas she left this-" Ella started saying but a nurse came over to us and interrupted her.

"You're her brother, right? Lucas Friar?" The nurses says. I nod.

"Lucas, um....Rebecca she uh....didn't make it." The nurse said.

I sat there in shock and Maya said, "Can we see her?" The nurse nodded and she walked away.

We walked in and I see Rebecca. I run over with Maya right behind me.

"WHY DID YOU KILL YOURSELF! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME! ABOUT THE MEAN GIRLS AND HOW YOU COULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE ON DAD! WHY REBECCA! WHY!" I yelled.

"Lucas, calm down." Maya said trying to comfort me.

"HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO CALM DOWN WHEN THE ONLY GOOD PERSON LEFT IN MY FAMILY IS DEAD!" I yelled louder than I ever have before.

"Please, Lucas. I need you to be calm. Rebecca wouldn't have want this." Maya said giving me a hug which I accept. She's never seen this side of me before.

"I'm sorry. It's just too hard to believe. She would never be that type of girl who would be so broken down by bullying." I said with tears coming out of my eyes.

"They called her a whore. Girls don't like that. I bet you if those girls were called whores they would as depressed as her." Maya stated.

"Depressed is such a strong word. Like as soon as you realize your world is shattering, you have to be like, oh I have to cut myself, oh I have to call myself ugly because that's what people think of me, oh I have to die because nobody loves me even though there's probably hundreds of people who would love me until I die. I hate that word." I said.

"Depressed is a word you can definitely hate. Especially since there's so many people that die from it." Maya said grabbing a tissue to wipe away her tears.

"Let's leave this room. See if Riley, Farkle, and Zay are here." I said.

We were heading out for the door but I stopped. "You go. I'll be out in a minute." She nodded and left.

I walked over to Rebecca and said, "I'm sorry about your pain. I thought being abused was so much pain. You were being abused and called a whore by your classmates. I'm sorry. But your in a better place. Tell mom I said hi and I miss her." I said. I left as soon as I was done talking.

I walked into the lobby and I saw Maya with Riley, Farkle, and Zay.

"Lucas, Maya told us what happened. We're so sorry." Farkle said.

"It's ok. It's hard to believe but I'm ok." I said as they came in for a group hug.

"Lucas." A voice said. I turned around and saw Ella.

"Yeah Ella." I said.

"I saw this when I saw Rebecca's body and it looks like it's a note to you so here you go." Ella said handing me a piece of paper. "My mom is going to be here so I'll see you guys."

"Bye." We all said as she left.

"Lucas, open it. This could explain why she killed her self." Maya said.

I unfolded it and the note said,

Dear Lucas,
If you're reading this I'm either dead or standing right next to you because I survived. I tried to kill myself. There was too pain going on my life. I have two reasons why I did this.
1) Dad.
2) Classmates called me a whore. (I already Ella told you the whole story.)
I'm sorry, Lucas. I truly am. But I'm telling you one thing. You're or we are going to send dad to jail. You or we , call the police immediately. We live with mom's sister, Aunt Zoey. (Cause we know dad's side is horrible.) Obviously we have to live with her because she's even closer to school but if I'm alive, I take online classes. But I'm pretty sure I won't make it. I'm sorry, Lucas. I'll tell mom I said hi and how you miss her.

Tears form in my eyes as I finish reading the note. They hug me once again.

"I'm sorry, Lucas." Riley said.

"She knew she wasn't going to survive." I said.

"Lucas, Rebecca is telling you to call police and live with your Aunt Zoey. Call the police and your Aunt Zoey!" Zay said.

"I'll call my Aunt Zoey not the police." I said.

"What? Why?" Maya asks.

"Because I know the perfect time."

"When?" Maya asked.

"Funeral. Next Saturday. Come. It's going to be sad but great at the same time."

So, Rebecca's dead. And we got a lucaya conversation so yay. Next chapter is Rebecca's funeral. Where Lucas gets revenge on his father and some Lucaya. Love you guys.
