Heyo, hope you're enjoying my story. So just to remind you what happened, Brogan came back to say goodbye and now he is gone. Scooter and Christian are becoming good friends and Brogan doesn't have a problem with it anymore. Christian seems perfect, but everyone has baggage, right?
Chapter 6: Two New Firsts
Monday arrived so quickly that I forgot to set my alarm, thinking it was still Sunday. Luckily Christian texted me around 7:30 am, because the bell rang at eight o'clock. I checked my phone to look at Christian's text.
Good morning
Every morning he would say this and I loved it. He knew exactly how to cheer me up or comfort me at anytime. Usually, just by asking to play baseball.
Noticing that I had been dazed for a long moment I quickly texted back and began getting ready for school. I only had about 15 minutes to get ready, so I just let my light brown hair fall down to my shoulders and slipped into a pair of jean shorts and a yellow blouse.
My parents were getting ready to leave for work already so I had to make my own breakfast. Well, I didn't really make it, I just grabbed an oatmeal muffin and headed outside after I had brushed my teeth and packed my bag.
The air felt warm and fresh as I rushed to school.

I had arrived just as the bell rang to start classes and I made it to science with only about 26 seconds to spare. Christian was waving polity to me from the back of the room as I took a seat next to Teagan from baseball. Ms. T silenced everyone from the chalk board and as soon as she started writing complicated formulas on the black surface I was lost.
I glanced back at Christian and he seemed to be soaking all of the information in. I tried taking notes like he was, but every time I was halfway through a sentence, Ms. T erased and started a new one.
After another hour of frustration, the teacher finally dismissed us and I made my way to Christian's desk. He was still packing up all of his papers as I neared his spot.
"Hi," I piped. Excited about seeing him. He seemed stressed about something but I didn't want to sound snoopy, but in a way I knew he needed to get whatever he was holding back, off his chest.
"Christian, what's up?" I asked, trying to act casual. He finally looked up and stared at me. "Do you like Brogan? Or did you? The way he liked you?"
I was taken aback by the question. Why would Christian think that? Why does he look so upset about it?
I opened my mouth to speak, stopping when I realized that I didn't even know the answer. Since the day Brogan confessed to me about his crush, I had only been thinking about how much it had surprised me, I hadn't even thought about how I felt back.
Clearly, Christian noticed my hesitation, and began leaving the classroom. I wanted to reassure him that I knew the answer, but I didn't. I had no clue.
Before I had a chance to answer, Christian had left. I was alone in the science room, unknown of my own feelings.

The cafeteria was cramped as I walked around with my tray wobbling in my hands. Trying to avoid any collisions, I found Christian reading a book on Jacky Robinson by the entrance. He was alone so I went to eat with him.
An uncomfortable silence greeted me and I began slowly eating my sandwich. "Did you think of your answer yet?" He asked suddenly.
"Yes," I answered turning to look at him. He had set his book down and took a bite of my cookie. It had raisins in it- I hated raisins, so I always gave mine to Christian.
