Gabby and Sylvie speed to the scene. When they arrive at the Mall, they are greeted by the security guard. 'Hi. What happened?' Gabby asks the security guard.
'I don't know but this woman thinks her sister is going into premature labour.' The security guard explains. He then takes them up to where Sam and Shaylynn are.
'Sam!' Gabby says shocked.
'I told you not to get an ambulance.' Sam whispers to Shaylynn.
'You could be going into labour.' Shaylynn tells her.
'I'm fine!' Sam protests.
'Just let us examine you then. Just in case.' Gabby says.
'I'm fine!' Sam insists. She then puts her hand on her bump. Gabby does so and can feel contractions.
'Sam, you're going into labour.' Gabby tells her.
'What?!' Sam exclaims. 'No. It's too early.'
'Your baby will be viable.' Sylvie reassures her. Gabby keeps her fingers on the bump and she feels yet another contraction.
'Sam, your contractions are two minutes apart. This baby is coming.' Gabby tells her. Sylvie then tells the security guard to get something to put on the floor and something to wrap around the baby. She then gets the OB kit out ready and hands it to Gabby. The security guard then returns with some towels.
'I need to push.' Sam says.
'Okay. Let's get you on the floor.' Sylvie tells her. Gabby, Sylvie and Shaylynn then helps Sam onto the floor, Gabby then puts some towels in front of her, lifts her dress and pulls her pants off. She then puts her legs up and puts her in a birthing position. By now a crowd has gathered, so the security guards tells everyone to move on. As they do, Peter runs up to Sam.
'Sam, what's going on?' He asks worried as he crouches beside her.
'The baby's coming.' Gabby tells him. 'You need to push, Sam.' Peter grabs Sam's hand.
'You can do it.' He reassures her. She squeezes his hand and then grabs Shaylynn's hand. She then pushes with all her might.
'I can't do it.' She cries.
'You can.' Shaylynn tells her. 'You can do it.' Sam then pushes some more and Gabby takes a look.
'I can see the head.' Gabby announces. 'One more big push and your daughter should be here.' Sam pushes once again, with all her might. Then... cries. 'She's here!' Gabby announces. She quickly wraps the baby up.
'Peter, do you want to cut the cord?' Sylvie asks and Peter nods. He moves round and cuts the cord. Gabby then hands Sam the baby. 'Keep her as warm as you can.' They then transfer her over to the stair chair and take her straight to the ambulance. Shaylynn tells her that because Peter is with her, she'll follow them in the car. On the way, she calls Hank and Kelly to tell them what's happened.
As soon as they arrive at the hospital, Gabby and Sylvie take Sam up to maternity whilst Baby Girl Stone is taken to NICU by one of the NICU nurses. Not long after, Sam delivers the placenta and not long after that, Hank and Kelly turn up.
