'Samantha Voight.' Sam says shaking Ava's hand. 'I understand you were looking for me.' She says. Ava lets go of Sam's hand and tries to get past her but Sam holds her back. 'Going somewhere?' She asks. 'Sit.' She says pointing to a chair and getting her phone out. She dials the front desk and gets Trudy to send some patrol officers to collect Ava and take her to the district. Once they leave, Sam sits in the chair next to Andrew. 'Why'd you do it?' She asks him.
'For the sake of my client.' Andrew lies.
'You're a really bad liar. You wouldn't tell Hinks anything about me.' Sam tells him. 'You are going to explain everything to me, before that, how do you know Ava Cooper?'
'She's my step-daughter.' Andrew tells her.
'What?!' Sam exclaims. 'Did you know that she's Hinks' biological daughter?'
Meanwhile, down in the ED. Shaylynn is waiting on being discharged. Will walks into the treatment room. 'Please tell me I can leave?' Shaylynn asks.
'You'd be delighted to know that you can.' Will smiles. 'Just no more running in heels.'
'I can't promise anything.' Shaylynn says putting her hands up, she looks at Kelly who gives her a stern look and she sticks her tongue out. 'Is Sam still here, do you know?'
'I was just up on ICU, she was still there.' Will nods.
'Thanks.' Shaylynn smiles. She then gets out of bed and both her and Kelly head up to ICU.
In Andrew's ICU room, Sam and Andrew are in the middle of a heated conversation. 'You had no right!' Sam shouts at him.
'I'm sorry!' Andrew says.
'Sorry isn't going to cut it.' Sam tells him. By now Shaylynn and Kelly are at the door to Andrew's room. 'You told him. That I was raped.' She snarls, whispering. Obviously, Shaylynn over hears because when Kelly looks at her she's got a furious look on her face and her whole face has turned red.
