You and Scott were never anything serious. Just what you called 'friends with benefits.' But that didn't mean he didn't have feelings. You only saw him as a good friend and a good time but he saw you as the most beautiful human on earth who deserved nothing but love. He loved the times he spent with you and he felt a connection whenever you guys were together. He could honestly say he was in love with you. But his heart broke when you suddenly found someone knew. "I'm sorry Scott. I don't want to do this anymore. I finally found someone that I want to settle down with." He looked at you with sad eyes but slowly nodded. "Okay. I'm happy you found someone."
