okay, so i'm kind of excited for this because i spent really long (as in ten minutes) to come up with the first part and how to introduce the reader as a delinquent (as you requested ). i actually forgot about the delinquent part so i had to trash the first rough and unfinished draft and make a second one so i hope you enjoy!

p.s. what do you guys think of the new cover? i'm so proud of it avhajahsjabn; i actually made two but i thought that this one would suit the summary better. what do you guys think i should use?

the current one or this? make sure to leave a comment and tell me what you think! if you choose the one above, i'd be making a whole new summary to fit the cover so if i decide to use that, i hope that you'll be looking forward to the new summary!

"I heard that she was the one who pushed her down."

Every step you took seemed to add to the weight on your shoulders as whispers of rumors and speculations filled the hallway as you slowly walked towards your locker. Several classmates whom you had considered as friends were narrowly avoiding you to prevent contact, afraid to be dragged into the tangle of what had happened the day before.

"Out of anger, wasn't it? Or was it jealousy?"

Your fingers curled to form a fist and you clenched the papers you held in your hand tightly, willing yourself to melt away into the shadows.

"The girl was Nishinoya Akira, wasn't it? The sister of Nishinoya Yuu-senpai?"

Memories of Nishinoya Akira's shocked expression flashed into your mind as you slowly watched her lose her footing and reel backwards as your hand immediately reached out to grab her, her head slamming into one of the steps before her unconscious body rolled down the staircase, hitting against the concrete wall before it came to a full stop.

Although she hadn't died, you were informed that she was apparently in a coma. That was all they said. No further explanation as to if Akira was alright or not or if she would be waking up anytime soon.

"Poor Akira. Who knew that [Y/N] would actually go that far just to save her pride?"

Despite what they were saying, they only knew half the truth of what had really happened that afternoon.

"Well, bohoo. At least the whole school would know what [Y/N] really is like now that she's shown her true colors."

Out from the hundreds of students that populated the school, not a single one had bothered to defend you– not a single one had bothered to ask for a real explanation.
