Clary

Jace got down on one knee.

Oh my god. Clary thought. This can't be happening.

Then, the inevitable came. Jace pulled out a small velvet box and opened it. It had none other than a diamond ring inside. "Clarissa Fray," He said. "Will you marry me?"

There was a long pause. Clary didn't know what to do.

"I-I..." She began. There were tears in her eyes. "I- I can't." Clary ran out of the room.

"Wait! Clary!" Jace called after her. But she didn't stop running. She ran to Izzy's room to talk to her about what had just happened. What Jace didn't know was that Clary was going to break up with him later that day.

Jace

Jace had been left staring at the closed door decorated in pink with "Izzy" written on the front.

He couldn't belive what had just happened.  He thought Clary was his soul mate. He needed to vent with someone about this. He went to Alec's room because there was no way in hell he would talk to Simon about this. No doubt Alec would be with Magnus though. Even tough they had broken up, they still had "flings". Jace tried not to gag at the thought as he walked up to the door next to his own. He knocked on the door and waited about half a second before barging in. Jace was not a patient man when his life was in shambles.

He opened the door to find Alec with his shirt off making out with Magnus.

Gross. Jace thought. He was there for close to a minute before Alec even noticed him. Alec had to take a second glance before realizing that he and Magnus had company. He pulled away from Magnus, who looked sad, as he put his shirt on quick as possible.

"Hi." He chuckled. "Didn't see you there."

That was the moment Jace lost it. It really sucked, having your heart broken by your one true love and then seeing others so indulged in their love. He started to cry. Not just tears in his eyes, but buckets and buckets of tears.

"She said no. I don't know why. She just ran." Jace managed to say through the sniffles. Alec knew what he was talking about. Jace had told Alec the plans earlier.

"It's - It's going to be okay." Alec tried to soothe him.

"You dick! How can you say that when it's obviousily NOT going to be okay?!"

"I was just trying to help."

"If you want to help, get me a gun."

"Woah, Jace" Magnus intejected. "Why do you need a gun?"

"Well, what's the point in living if everyone fucking hates me?" Jace replied, his tone of voice spiteful.

"Don't get the gun Alec." Instructed Magnus. Alec didn't move an inch.

"I- I..." Jace flopped face first into the bed. He screamed so loud that all the boroughs and Long Island could hear him.

"Why did she say no?" He asked with pleading eyes.
