Do we look okay? I thought to myself. Hopefully.
We were right to wear stilettos. These girls weren't so ordinary. We wouldn't be the loners, dressed like this.
"Let me guess, he cheated on me!" Screamed a redhead, obviously adressing her breakup with some phsyco. Her blond friend replyed, yelling into a guys face: "Yea, phsyco. Dont you dare come near my sister again. You cheated on her with your cousin, and wait. I will destroy you once school's over."
Nevermind. It was her sister. I walked towards the redhead, who was now crying. "Are you okay? Here, lets go to the bathroom and get you cleaned up. Its the first day of school. Lets make you pretty again." She walked in my arms, with Ava next to me. The blondie was still arguing with the boy, her screams heard across the hall. Ava stopped walking, and as I turn around, she walks back to the blond girl, and I hear her say "You ain't gonna stand in front of my best friend and yell back. You cheated on her sister with their cousin. Apologize. Now. I dare you to say no. Now." He couldn't. He didn't. He already knew the sisters meant business, but now that me and Ava came, we definitely meant business together. "I'm sorry, really, I am. I didn't mean to cheat. I don't know why. I'll apologize to Janel when she returns. I swear." Janel, huh? So thats the redhead. I wonder what the blondie's name is, wondered Ava. The boy, Jason, ran off. He went to get Janel, wanting to apologize. While Emilia was taking her to the bathroom, and just as they were going to enter, he stopped her. "Janel, Janel please, hear me out. I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. You're the love of my life, please, forgive me!" But Janel didn't feel the same way. "Don't you see? I don't care." She said sadly. She didn't think this would do anything to him. "I DON'T CARE, GODDAMMIT! YOU'RE NOT THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. FRANKLY, I DON'T KNOW WHY I EVEN TAKE TIME OUT OF MY BUSY DAY TO TEXT YOU! You don't reply anyways! Leave. I don't ever wanna see you again. Good bye." She said, clearly furious. *SLAP*. I didn't know what happened until I noticed the red hand mark on Jason's face. She turned her back-Total Diva, right? He still deserved it- and walked with me into the bathroom. We still had one hour left, since I accidentally mistook our class timing. I thought classes started at 7:00 sharp, but turns out i miscalculated two hours. Our first class started at 9:00 am. I took Janel to the bathroom and wiped off her clumpy mascara. "Don't move."
I applied a thin coat of thickness-enhancing mascara and a little bit of eye liner. Her eyeshadow was okay, so I didn't touch that. Her lipstick was okay as well, although a little smudged. I rubbed off her pale lipstick and gave her some pink, whereas for myself, a little brown wouldn't hurt. We went out together, talking on the way.
"I'm Emilia."
"Janel. Thank you for helping me." She seemed so sweet.
"It was nothing. You're welcome. Im new here. To Canada."
"Oh! Me and Kaya, my sister can take you out! We need some best friends anyways." So did we. It had always been the two of us, just me and Ava. Time for a change.
"That would be amazing. Thank you. My friend, well shes so close, I call her my sister, shes Ava. The one yelling at...uh...Jake?"
"Jason. I'll talk to Kaya. We'll take you and Ava to the mall."
"Lets go." I led her back to Kaya and Ava, we introduced ourselves properly.
During Free Period
"So, I texted Aiden again. I told him we're not going to keep this up. His flight got cancelled, his parents cancelled Canada and they're not letting him travel alone. I broke up with him." I told the girls. "I'm going to date someone who I will see everyday. Perhaps...Will?" I said.
"That hot guy from English?" Ava asked with curiosity.
"Yeah." They didn't look surprised.
"Go get him, Emi." Responded Janel.
I will, I thought, but I just smiled at her.
