Twenty Two : Harry

I had a girlfriend. A real girlfriend and to be honest, I was so bloody happy. To officially call Saffron mine was one of the best things ever. When I told management that we were official, they were pissed and add to that the fact Darci had posted a sneaky shot of Saffron and I, they were feeling murderous.

But Darci had run the photo by us with the simple and no-giveaway caption ‘birthday girl!. so it was no big deal. Really, I hated lying to my fans so the sooner we could get this ‘easing them into it’ over and done with, the better.

On Monday morning, before I went into the studio, I quickly scrolled through TMZ on my phone. Sure enough, there was an article about me. I quickly skimmed through it.

“... Saffron Davies, daughter of Burberry owner Katherine Anderson, has recently been spotted with Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Ed Sheeran. Recently turned 19, the three were seendining at Casa Vegan a few nights ago. After leaving in separate cars, it's come to known that the party didn't stop there. Through a photo on Instagram by Darci Beaumont, friend of Saffron's, it shows Saffron and Harry looking cute together in a casual pose. But this raises the question, are they an item or are they just friends?”

I laughed to myself before slipping my phone into my pocket and heading to the studio. The boys and I were travelling to New York next week to appear on Good Morning America so we were organising things around that.

After the long meeting, I quickly called Saffron. She picked up on the second ring. "Hey Harry!"

"Hi Saff, what are you doing?"

"I'm at work," she said as if it were obvious. "I'm on my lunch break."

"Oh right, yeah. Well, do you wanna come over tomorrow night because I'll be in New York next week and I don't know when I'll see you."

"Hey no way," she exclaimed. "I was going to call you after work to tell you I was going to New York next week. I'm meeting up with a supplier for my store."

A smile grew on my face. "So we'll be in New York at the same time?" I questioned smugly.

"I guess we will be," she responded, her tone matching mine.

I fake-sighed. "Management's not going to like that."

"No they aren't." She brightened her tone. "I guess it's something they'll have to get over."

I laughed. "Indeed."

"Anyway, I'm still keen to come over tomorrow night so we'll discuss things then. Right now, I need to get back to work."

"Okay," I replied. "I'll text you later then."

"Sounds good. See ya Harry."

"Bye Saff," I said before hanging up.

I was definitely management's least favourite person as we got on the plane to New York. After telling them Saffron was going to be in New York as well, they wanted to seriously hit me. I didn't care though, I mean, when did any of us boys ever value their opinion?

When we landed in The Big Apple, after seeing fans at the airport and getting into the car, I texted Saffron.

'Just landed in NY x'

She didn't take long to reply.

'Awesome. I just met with a supplier, it went great. She's introducing me to a few boosters tomorrow!'
