"Uh-huh. Oops-Ow, hot!" Italy yelped then smiled, "It's a key... It's a key to some room!"

Obtained: hallway key

Destiny and I flinched when we saw that flash before our eyes.

I looked at the key if this is the part I think it is, then Steve should appear soon. I know I'm going with Canada but who is Destiny going with. I would hope Italy and Germany just to even it out. But then again staying with Japan, China, and Russia would be smarter for power-wise, after all, Steve is pretty tough. I frowned.

How do they know to meet up in the Piano room, I mean never once did they say, 'Hey, let's meet up in the Piano room when we are done searching!' There was no, 'Yeah! Let's do that!' Or, 'Yeah, I guess.'

I crossed my arms, how strange.

China gasped, "We got a new breach!"

Japan nodded, "Finding a way out was our priority, but first, we have to think of a way to rescue our friends. If we are thorough in our search, I'm sure we'll find them. Those three are also tenacious people. They've got to be somewhere..."

Russia hummed, "Friends, huh...? Sounds interesting. I was caught by surprise before, but next time I meet the Thing, I'll have a lot to thank it for."

Italy walked back to the table with all of us. I grinned and hugged him, "Yep! You're still warm."

It must feel nice he hasn't really seen anything but this mansion. For a long time. Maybe not for the other Nations but for him.

I felt him relax and hug me back, he must have missed it... human contact, having the same things happen over and over, with little to no change.

Destiny and I must be strange, but at the same time nice to have around. He already seemed to hate the fact Destiny disappeared, maybe it's just a protective Nation trait or maybe it's because he believes it's his job to get everyone out. Or maybe... just maybe he actually likes the both of us, maybe he doesn't want us to die not just because of  instinct, trait, or job maybe it's because he wants us to be safe because we are his friends.

Italy's been through a lot so having us here, some people who can help fight and defend might be relaxing but i could be scary. People he's never seen before just forced their way into his life, in a seemingly never-ending loop of loss and death. I let him go and smiled at him and looked at him with a look of, 'no matter what I'll protect them for you.'

He seemed confused. I closed my eyes and tilted my head down, don't worry Italy you'll understand... eventually.

England sighed "Let's hurry. I don't want anyone dropping out."

Japan hummed, "Well, then, we'll split up into three groups, since we have so much to do. And no one can go alone. each group should have at least two people."

Italy hesitated then nodded, "Yeah, there are too many rooms. There are rooms we can open with a key, rooms we can't open, and rooms that we haven't checked out yet."

Japan glanced at him, "Yes. Now, about our unsynchronized watches..."

Bang!

Italy jumped, "Eek!! J...Japan..."

I yelped, "Steve! Leave me alone!"

Destiny jumped to her feet and grabbed her bow, "Back off Steve."

Japan looked down, "...So, it found us, after all. This room is no longer safe."

England glared, "was it ever off-limits? Shit! What are we going to do?!"

Japan called over the banging, "My group will be in charge of dealing with the Thing. Germany, Italy, you will search for the room to open with the key."

China declared, "Then I'll fight with Japan!"

"Can I join you? I really have to thank it for all the trouble~" Russia smiled with a dark aura.

"There's a room that I want to investigate with Canada, so that's where we're heading. Italy, if you make any progress, come to the room with the piano," England thought.

Italy shook "Okay! B-be careful Japan."

Japan nodded, "Thank you."

I darted over to Canada, "I'm going with you!"

Destiny crossed her arms, "I'll go with Italy and Germany then," she sent me a look of 'thanks fam.'

Steve slammed the door open and stormes into the room.

Japan looked determined with the Monster named Steve behind him, "Well then everyone...Good luck."

Japan whipped around and attacked Steve, "Right now!!"

Canada grabbed my hand and darted past Steve with England in tow. England grabbed my other hand and he and Canada dragged me up the stairs and away from Steve, Destiny, and the others.

~No one's P.O.V~

Japan, Russia, and China

China looked around, "Everyone has escaped," he pulled out his Wok and got ready to fight

Japan nodded and took his katana out of its sheath, "Yes, everyone except us."

Germany and Italy

Germany, Destiny, and Italy are in the main hall on the third floor.

Italy looked at Germany nervously, "That guy was a little bigger than before, don't you think? Maybe we really should go back to help them..."

England and Canada

England looked around the room after letting going of (Y/n)'s hand, "Okay, we'll examine this room before the others get here."
