I closed my eyes, thinking really hard, on the shadows. Through my closed eyes, I noticed it slowly getting darker, I began to walk forward not too sure where I was at the moment. Just then something flashed across my vision breaking my concentration. Forcing me out of my shadow form, reemerging as normal on the ground, I sat up, and frowned, "Well... I tried."

There I sat on the other side of the cell, free for the most part except for the fact that my right foot was stuck in between the bars keeping me from moving anywhere.

"What happened?" America asked.

I laid down annoyed, "Something broke my concentration."

"What could have done that?" He asked another question.

"I know..." Prussia said softly, "We went to go see Destiny..." He left out a soft sigh, "And... she wasn't there..."

While the (h/c) female had her foot stuck between two metal bars and most the nations were trying to help her free it (keyword: trying) a normally nervous male with auburn hair was walking away from the cell. Completely unaware of the female who had tried (and failed) to follow him.

The male, commonly known as Italy sighed, "They got really mad at me. Germany's face was so scary... straight out of a nightmare." He looked around with a slight frown and started walking right down the hall when a loud noise scared him.

"Eeeeeeek!!!" Italy jumped, "Germanyyy!! Japaaaaan!! Oh, right, they're not here..." he looked down and pulled a device out of his pocket, "My phone? Scary... Who is it? And how can they call me, anyway?" He answered the phone with, "What?! Um! Roma-"

"You IDIOT!!!" A voice on the other line snapped, "What took you so fucking long to answer, goddammit?!"

Italy flinched, "What?! What? It's true?! It's really you?! How? You are Romano, aren't you?!"

The other, Romano rolled his eyes, "Of course it's me! Ack, wait- Spain!! You can't take my phone! Give it back!"

"Spain, too? It can't be true... Why?" Italy asked his eyes tearing up.

Romano scoffed, "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Now listen, Veneziano-...? Are you crying?"

Italy shook his head, "No, I-I'm just so happy. Hey, Romano, can you fill in for me at work tomorrow?"

"Huh?"

Italy sniffed, "Tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, and forever and ever... Can you?"

Romano was silent for a second, "...No."

"Romano-"

"It's your job. Just get your ass back here and fucking take care of it yourself! An... real... idiot... well... ly..." Romano was cut off.

"Romano? I can't hear you! Hello! It got cut off... Hehe!" Italy let out a bitter laugh, "Their voices. It's been so long!... I wish I could go home."

~Else Where~

A male similar to the man walking around in the mansion grumbled, "Tsk! It got fucking cut off. Oh, well. At least I got to call him. God, my brother is such a pain in the ass... And Spain and the others are taking their sweet time getting here. Why aren't they back already?!... Veneziano... I'm coming."

~Back with Italy~

Italy walked through the mansion heading toward the room with the burnt ladder, "No... It isn't here, after all. Where did I hide it, again...? Was it on the 3rd floor, maybe? Maybe not. Ugh, I'm really anxious now. But if I calm down, I'll remember... There was another one that I hid with America. And then... um..."

"I found you, Venezianooo!!!"

Confused Italy looked up, "... What?" His gaze was met with Spain and Romano looking down at him from a hole in the mansion gardens. "Ro-Wh-why?!"

Romano sighed in relief, "Good thing the front door wasn't opening, so I was just loitering around here. I finally found you! What the hell have you been up to?"

Spain grinned, "Ita! Thank God! You can't stay there all alone. Where are the other guys?"

"What-what are you doing here?! We didn't ask you to come here!" Italy asked mentally freaking out.

"What did you do with the clocks?" Romano called down to his brother, "Did you break all of them?!"

Italy blinked in shock, "--!!! How-how did you know about that?"

"Answer me!" He snapped, "Did you break the last clock?!"

Italy muttered, "It can't be... You weren't supposed to know about that... What are you even doing here in the first place?"

Spain not knowing what is going on tried to calm the male next to him, "Romano, I know you're happy to see him, but don't get too excited..."

"Veneziano! I'm coming here right now, so don't move!!" Romano yelled.

Italy flinched, "N-no!! Don't come here, no matter what!! Go home!! What are you doing here?! How-how did you know?!"

Romano went quiet, "...Try saying my name."

Italy stuttered, "R-Romano..."

Romano shook his head, "No! Say my full name!!"

"... Italy. Italy Roma...no..." Italy said slowly.

Romano raised his head, "Yeah, that's right. I'm Italy, too! I don't know everything you remember, but I do plan on carrying at a little of that burden on my shoulders! You haven't been alone all this time! You've... broken quite a few clocks, haven't you?"

Italy nodded, "Y-yes...but..."

Spain finally catching up to the pace added, "The flow of time got fixed. That's why we were finally able to get here. Not just us, you know? The others are coming to help you guys."

"I fiiiiiinally found you," Romano groaned sounding slightly annoyed that it took so long, "I've been trying to find you for ages- couldn't find you- the phone wouldn't work, and sometimes I felt these shocks, like half of me had disappeared, every single time-"

His brother, his best friend, his support and anchor was here. In the most dangerous place, he could think of. What was he going to do? How was he going to get him to leave? One knew when the other was lying so if he said everything was fine he would be called out from lying.

Italy finally reached his breaking point, "You-IDIOT!!!"

"Veneziano?"

Italy looked down, "I'm sorry, Romano, I have to go. I'm sorry, but...just go home!"

"Ack! YOU BASTARD!! Wait!!" Romano gasped trying to get his brother back into his view as the other walked off.

Spain stopped him from falling, "Whoa!! No, Romano! I'll try going down the ropes first, and you just wait here, okay?"

Romano frowned, "Can you really use this ladder? I can't see the bottom very well..."

"I think it's okay? Though I can't see it very well, either. The boss will go down first, so wait here just a moment!" Spain shifted to start going down the ladder.

Which both were unaware that it was half burned.
