I let out a sigh and leaned up against him, "Not to mention, I can't do much to help any of you. All I do is control shadows, but all I know how to do is hide! And I don't know the first thing about First Aid!"

Prussia tried to look at me, "Don't American schools have to give a Health class?"

I scoffed, "Two years of it 1 and a half years of PE and half a year of health, but just because I have the classes doesn't mean I paid attention."

Prussia let out a laugh, " Yeah, I wouldn't sit through that either."

"It's boring!" I defended myself.

Prussia gave me his gentle smile and stood up, "You don't have to contribute anything by fighting or by healing. You keep everyone happy, may it be with a comment or even your smile. It may not be big, but it is with more than you know. And that can contribute more than fighting," he offered his hand to me, "because everyone will want to live to see you smile, to hear you speak."

I stared at him, my lips parted slightly but nothing came out. Is that true? My (e/c) eyes stared into his red orbs. I wanted to say more, I wanted to tell him that I knew what was going to happen. I wanted so badly to tell him that this was a game where I come from. I wanted to warn him what could happen to Italy. And more than anything else I wanted to help, to keep them alive.

And I did try, I was trying to right now, but... How does one find the words to say. How does one tell another that everything that has happened to them I knew about beforehand despite the fact that only Destiny sees the future.

It's not as easy as one might think. It's like telling them, "Oh, yeah, by the way, your life has been in danger since the moment you stepped on this property and I've known the entire time. Also, if you make one mistake everyone is gonna die. Oh, right there was one more thing that I can't forget about I could've helped you the whole time but just instead chose to help without actually doing anything."

I mean I can't just tell him... I wish Destiny could help me with this. How could anyone find the words... The right words?

I soon looked down at my lap just as Japan left the room we had left him in. Both Prussia and I stand up and join Japan as he walks right down the hall, quickly meeting with Germany and Italy we enter the room. The group of us walk to the door in the far right corner.

As soon as we entered the dark hall leading to our "escape route" everyone (more like Prussia) began to talk.

Prussia grinned, "Aah, we can finally escape! At long last..."

Japan nodded, "... Yeah."

No... No, we can't... I'm sorry. I felt tears fill my eyes, it's not fair, I put my hand on Prussia's arm, "Calm down. Please... I don't want to see you disappointed." I whispered the last part.

"Aw," Prussia sent me a grin, "But I'm so excited we get to go home!"

I looked away, slightly happy that he didn't hear the second part. But nervous about how he is gonna take this. I glanced at him once again, "Stay alert, alright?"

Prussia nodded, "Deal."

Germany sighed, "You're too slow. I'll just go ahead."

Japan flinched, "Oh!! Germa-"

Germany walked down the right hall, to scoop out the possible escape route.

Japan stood still, looking straight forward his eyes telling me that he was lost in thought.

"Aaargh!!" Germany let out a yell.

My (e/c) eyes caught sight of Italy. His eyes were open and wide, his body portrayed his fear, "!!" He stared down the hall, "Germany!!" Without a second thought, he rushed down the hall.

Prussia's voice called out to his brother, and he had taken a small step forward, "What happened? Did you fall over?"

Japan didn't even glance at us, "Let's go."

Prussia ran down the hall, with me not far behind. Hoping that I could find some way to help, Destiny and I had been practicing on a way for me to pull others into shadows with me... Maybe... Just maybe I could pull it off.

Something flashed before my eyes causing me to stumble a bit, but I quickly recovered. Letting myself read it as I caught up to Prussia, Germany, and Italy.

Germany's torture level went up.

Italy learned a new skill.

Prussia learned a new skill.

Japan learned a new skill.

Behind me, I heard Japan run down the hall. Just like Prussia, Italy, and myself, he found Germany, the Oni, and the rope ladder away that Steve had burned away.

"... There it is." Japan whispered

Germany took a small step back his ice blue eyes stayed lock onto the creature before him, "J-Japan! Run, quickly!"

"..." Japan stayed quiet and still.

Italy's breathing began to noticeably quicken, "Let's go, quickly! I'm worried about the others!"

"Hahah! I see now. This is what he meant..." Prussia muttered.

"Come on!" Germany yelled, "Just run-"

"All together!" Italy's voice sounded like he was pleading, "That's it! If we run, we can still make it!!"

Germany nodded, "Y-yes."

Prussia snapped at the one still frozen, "Japan!!"

We rushed down the hall as fast as we could. I began to slow and whipped my body around just as Germany tripped. Steve not far behind him.

Japan had turned around and saw Germany on the ground, "Prussia! Wait! Germany tripped over a rock!"

Prussia shifted, "West!!"

Germany looked up, "Shit! Not in this place-Go!! I can't get this vine off!!"

Italy froze and turned around, "...Hh! Germany!"

Prussia raced down the hall and his little brother's side, "Japan!! Have you got your answer yet?!"

Japan was quiet, "..."

Prussia rushed forward and attacked the Monster.

Germany pushed himself up on his elbows, "Prussia!! Why?!"

"Hey, West! Is this really the time to wipe the floor?!" Prussia laughed cheerfully.

Italy pushed past me, "... I'm sorry. Are you okay, Germany?"

"Italy..." Germany blinked.

Japan quickly joined them, "This is my answer! The enemy is stronger but so are we. If we all join forces, we can defeat it!"

Prussia smiled, "Hah. Well done!"

"You idiots!! Why did you come back?!" Germany snapped.

Prussia glanced back at his brother with a pained smile, "You want to know why I came back? Because... I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't help my little brother!"
