AU WHERE Superboy is not cloned from the Clark Kent Superman. Where after the death of the first Superman, Cadmus and Lex Luthor steal the DNA of Steel, John Henry Irons, who has created a suit that mimics Kal-El's Kryptonian abilities, and for the life of them, Cadmus cannot achieve what he has. Where Cadmus clones Irons instead, hoping the clone will have the brains his "father" does. Where they fail, and Project Kr is not as smart as they hoped he would be. Where after being rescued, the, brooding, dark-skinned Superboy considers himself a failure, and refuses Irons' invitations to live with him and his family in Washington DC, deeming the invitation to be out of pity. Where, with the help of his teammates/friends, he progresses and starts learning. Where he grows smarter and finally creates a bulletproof suit and rockets just as John Henry did. Where he humbles himself and accepts Irons's invitation, because it isn't worth it if you're born with privilege. You have to work for the things you want.

AU WHERE Wally is African-American, like in the Flash TV show. Where his mother died in childbirth and his father does his very best to provide for his son but he can't. Where Wally's aunt Iris and her husband, Barry, take Wally into their home and give him the best life a kid could want. Where Wally isn't too good at math but loves science and wants to be just like his Uncle Barry. Where Wally follows Barry all over his CSI lab until he was exposed to the same accident that Barry was, discovering his uncle is the Flash and becoming his sidekick. Where Wally unapologetically flaunts that he is a nerd and proud because that's what his family encouraged him to do. Where Wally encourages others to be loud and proud of whatever they are too, because no one should be afraid to do that.

AU WHERE Robin was an acrobat in a circus from India. Where he never grew up with one religion or another but where he learned the importance of a moral code and helping others and being happy from his parents. Where he loves taking care of the animals, his only friends, and feeding peanuts to the elephants and watching the majestic tigers at a respectful distance. Where he is excited to travel the world and learn new things. Where he was taken in by a man who also watched his family die in front of him after Tony Zucco sabotages the circus. Where he never forgets what his parents taught him, because it's just as important as the acrobatics they taught him, and the new skills his new teacher instills in him.

AU WHERE Zatanna is descended from Native American tribal shaman, and their blood runs through her veins and she will never let their culture die. Where she protests loudly for tribes to keep their land and calls on her ancestors spirits for advice. Where she knows just what to do if the aspirin or ibuprofen isn't working, because you won't find the cure for a curse at the pharmacy. Where wherever she goes, she makes sure that those around her treat others with the respect they deserve.

AU WHERE Megan watched TV shows like The Cosby Show and was inspired by fictional characters like Ororo Munroe (Storm). Where Megan dreams of having a family as kind, as loving, and as tight-knit as the Huckstables and when it comes the time for her to blend in ojn Earth, she takes the appearance of Vanessa. Where Karen Beecher loves her like a sister but is jealous that Megan can style her hair easily while she has to spend half an hour brushing it to stay in place. Where Megan is still insecure about her inside appearance, but she can change what she looks like on the outside and she choses to stay black not because people tell her she's beautiful, but because she knows she is.

AU WHERE Themyscira is a floating island in the Pacific, and the warrior women there are all protected by the Mother Island Goddess. Where Wonder Girl is a half-Japanese half-Hawaiian island girl who is inspired by both her archaeologist mother and these woman who look just like her and are proud of who they are. Who protect their ancient culture, traditions, myths, and legends by teaching it to girls like Cassie all over the Pacific ocean. Where Hana follows this island's Wonder Woman to the mainland on a mission of peace and mercy.
