Cassie wondered if it really was the worst thing ever that she was caught red-handed singing in the team's locker room when she thought she was alone, using her hairbrush as a pretend microphone.
"Miraculous! Simply the best! Up to the test when things go wrong!" She belted out.
Cassie admittedly wasn't the best singer, but she loved the song. Miraculous Ladybug was her favorite TV show.
"Miraculous, yeah I got this, I gotta confess I feel so strong!"
Click.
Cassie froze.
"Oh my gosh, Cass, the look on your face!" Hiding behind a row of lockers were Gar and Bart, rolling on the floor laughing.
"I will strangle the both of you with my lasso!" Cassie grabbed her golden lasso, resting on the bench next to her phone.
"Gar, Bart, get out of there!" Cassie sighed in relief, when Tim dragged the both of them out of the bathroom. Out in the hall, however, the boys started up again.
"Tim and Cassie, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" They crowed at the top of their lungs.
"I still have my lasso!" Cassie warned.
"And I have a taser!" Tim added. Both boys ran down the hall as fast as they could.
Cassie smiled at Tim shyly, packing up her things and putting on her sneakers. "Sorry you had to step in," she apologized.
"It was no problem," Tim assured her, shoving his hands into his jacket pockets. "What was that song you were singing, by the way? It sounded really good."
"Oh! It's the pop theme from my favorite show!" Cassie said. Tim didn't know what he'd unleashed, and from the look on his face, he didn't care. Cassie looked absolutely amazing when she was excited, and her eyes lit up brighter than the Bat-signal at night.
He took her hand and walked down the hall with her, though Cassie was so into the explanation of Miraculouses and LadyNoir she was floating along, so Tim gently tugged her as they walked, hanging on every word.
"I'm sorry," She blushed as she finished her long-winded rant on the theory of Hawkmoth-slash-Papillion, "I must sound like a dork," she landed, running her hand through her hair.
"Don't worry about it," Tim promised. "I'm an even bigger dork, if it makes you feel any better."
Cassie laughed. "It does, Boy Wonderful, thank you." She kissed his pink cheek and hugged him tightly.
"See you tomorrow!" She said, running over to the zeta-tubes.
"Y-Yeah, tomorrow!" Tim waved helplessly after Cassie as she disappeared, staring into space for a long time after she left.
"Sooooo, can we start planning the wedding?" Tim jumped and saw that Gar and Bart had snuck up on him. Before Tim could react, Gar turned into a monkey, making it easier for Bart to carry him and run away.
"I am gonna taze the both of you!" Tim warned.
