"Kitty! We're leaving! You can whistle now." I turned back towards Tarleo as all the men started charging across the 'No Man's Land' I shook my head. It would be unfair if I did right now.

"I'll pass. I don't do it right now, I'll have to wait for them to get farther." He sighed and then turned away, not wanting to complain to the one person who protected everyone's house, and the fact that I have dragons. I watched the charge until I saw movement in the darkness. Lights flashed across from the other side as I watched the men fall. I couldn't see blood so I don't know if they were hit, or tripped. But those lights aren't lights to see, they're gunshots. I saw a bright light that vanished appeared by the guy who was a few meters away from me. I saw blood come from his head, as the bullet went through his head. I gasped. I am too young for this. Another hole came from the back of his head. The bullet went through him?! No way is he alive. He dropped dead as the bullet shot towards me. It hit parts of my hair as the blood of the guy splattered across my cheek. I started to freak out by it as my hair exploded in hair shards. I want to desperately whistle but I think I'm frozen in place. If I don't move now, the next bullet may kill me, or my own allies will kill me for not doing anything, or worse, everyone of those men out there will die because I never whistled. I took a deep breathe in, calming my nerves. I looking to my right, so I don't have to watch the death. Then I saw that same boy from earlier. His blue eyes showed fear as he turned towards me. I smiled at him and took in another breathe, turned back towards the fight. Death, more death, and just..nothing but death and lights. Like a firework show. The fireworks explode in color and all they see is stars and never wake up from their dream. And then, I whistled. Loud and clear. The men in the back looked at me for a second and some guns stopped lighting up. I ran forwards and I swear I could hear the boy running besides me as well. I jumped off the hill instead of running down it like the men. I closed my eyes and felt the wind in my hair. I heard a hush of wind and so I reached out, grabbing a rope. I opened my eyes to have a feeling of flying. I smiled when I noticed that I was covering the moon, taking the spotlight of the soldiers. He must of been close by for LightingMoon to hear my call for him. I leaned forwards and LightingMoon flew down towards them. He breathed it and breathed out, releasing a fireball that sounded like an earthquake caused by an explosion. I heard screams of terror as it made a huge explosion in enemy camp. Blood splattered the walls. I almost threw up at this. Of course I was too young. The men took my attack to their advantage. In the mix I saw the boy, shuddering, but forcing his frozen feet to move him. This war was making me sick. Over and over again. Men and children were forced from their home. So I was going to bring them back.

It's been a few days since I joined the warn. I leaned upwards. No one was inside my tent because, well, I'm a girl! But I heard the soft snoring of the men in the tent farthest from me. I looked on my chest to see Dew and Emeralzy were sleeping there. I nudged them and they got up, transforming into their human forms. "Master, what do you need?" Emeralzy tipped her head toward me and Dew pulled his hat a bit more down.

"Well, I need to know, where's LightingMoon?"

"Here miss. LightingMoon was guarding outside so no boys got in here." I smiled and laughed at him. He was in his human form as he ducked inside the tent. It was rare for him to be in his human form. He had black hair with black eyes, his hair covered his right eye. He had a cape like Emeralzy and had a small coat on. He sighed.

"So, LightingMoon, do you have a second?"

"Yes, miss."

"I can't handle the death again, I'm planning on escaping.

"And leave the other two behind? Yes, I'll go."

"No, I need all of you. Besides, I have a feeling I'm not going alone."A feeling shook down my spine as if I felt someone watching. And I had a feeling they won't let us leave so easily. I sighed and ignored it. No matter what they do, they can't get me. I remember, before I left, I told my family I would return, so they must hide for the soldiers might come looking for them. So I had no worry of my family and friends to become hostages. I'm just sick of watching death. For pure honesty, I might not seem it, but I want peace and only peace. These fightings are odd. Because if we were animals, then why do we fight and kill each other? Yes, wild animals fight, but not kill each other. So what makes us so different from them? Why do we need to fight to get what we want instead of talking about it. We aren't as special as we think. I looked at my three dragons. "Let's go, before we're spotted. If we already were, we can't waste any time." I looked over at the exit to the tent as I said those last words. I heard and saw the tent curtains move as a black figure disappeared. LightingMoon growled and chased after him, but I grabbed his hood, stopping him from running. "We can't draw any more attention to ourselves. Not yet anyways. Let him tell the others. Let them try and stop us. But we..we can last on our own. We don't need to stop him when they can't stop us." LightingMoon sighed and stopped resisting. I smiled at him. "Alrighty then, let's go." LightingMoon let me pass him and the three dragons walked besides and behind me.

"Emeralzy is confused. Emeralzy knows that they are leaving, but then, where will they go?" I looked at her.

"Wherever the North Star leads us. It's a sign of freedom. And that's exactly where we're headed." I pointed towards the bright star known as the North Star. They nodded and kept on walking. Dew was making fun of Emeralzy, who wanted to have a Dragon Fight with him, while LightingMoon lead them on, eyes on the North Star as he quietly lectured them. I smiled. Something then caught my attention. I turned to look where I saw the boy again. Sitting on the hill, looking out on the 'No Man's Land'. Covered in blood and bodies of both troops. "According to this, no one survived. So we will be advancing soon." Him speaking to me scared the heck out of me. I didn't know he knew I was there, watching him as I inched closer to surprise him.

"Y-Yeah! I bet it's amazing what happened out here!" he jumped to my voice and stood up facing me.

"Who are you! And why are you here?!" So he was talking to himself when he said that. Wow.

"Ehh, tell me first, your name. I deserve to know this. I don't know why but you just seem so familiar to me, you seemed so..frightened to me. I saw you sitting at this exact spot, watching the death in fear and turn to look at men with terror hidden deep within your eyes. And when you had to, you fought, even though your legs wouldn't stop trembling and frozen to the ground. I actually admire that."

"Oh...so you were the girl watching from the sidelines as well." He turned and stared back out. "It's amazing how beautiful this place has become. I always wondered. What was it like..to have something interesting happen. Every day, I would go to school, hang out, and go home. I did it every day. But then I was told to show off my skills and go to war if I'm good. And when I paced, I thought that maybe I would have something interesting. But no...It's just go to war, watch death happen while fighting for your life, then war over. Every day. So I gave up. Nothing is happening that makes me interested in." I smiled.

"Well, if you want something interesting, then join me." I held out my hand and snickered a bit. He stared at my hand and me and smiled.

"Sure!"
