I ended up back on the hill. I glared into the trees, knowing, that I can find my way back to the cell they held me in, if I just walk straight again. If I did, I might run into Tarleo, and the war will be over if I win this fight. But the war just began. It would be another pointless battle. I have to lead him and his men to the war zone and then kill him myself. And Erian. It's a traitor's own good to die by the one they betrayed. If I killed Tarleo, than Erian would be the next leader. I had to channel my anger, which isn't a hard thing to do. I went to war to protect others. Now, I joined the war to kill others. When I find my three dragons, I will find Tarleo, and lead him to his death.
I was at the mini jail again. I stared at the blood stained grass. It reminded me when Tarleo claimed my eye as his trophy of victory, when I gained a scar of losing. He even claimed all my emotion, so I no longer have the right to feel anything anymore. The bodies that were once there, were gone, yet the blood still dried on the newly colored grass. The entrance was open, signifying they were still down there, investigating. They should've left new guards out here in case of an attack. But they would think you would think that, so the guards must be hiding in there for people who are as stupid as those dead guards. I snuck it, using the shadows as cover in my black coat. It disguised me well, reminding me of ShingingMoon. I felt sick as I climbed down the steps to where I barely escaped with my life. I watched for the guards, but they weren't there. I checked my surrounding and jumped for cover of the wall. I was close enough to the opened door to hear men in the room, talking. "How far did she go?"
"I don't know. It looks new, according to Lieonia and Guarzip's bodies. Rest their souls."
"They were stupid anyways, I did expect them to die."
"Seriously? I thought they were smart and clever. How else would we let them guard and join us in this war?"
"Because we were short of men and needed some. So Tarleo promised them luxury if they killed the captive."
"We even told them she was very clever and a Dragon Tamer. They should've known she would escape before we arrived. We deserve that luxury more than them."
"Their dead, of course we would get it!"
"No we wouldn't. We have to capture her BEFORE he arrives to get deserved luxury."
"Right..man, now I feel like the third wheel of that dumb guard brigade."
"Wait, what's in the hair she left behind?"
"Are you ignoring me?"
"'Have Fun With My Hair. You Can't Tame A Wild Dragon Tamer.' Is what is says. What does it mean? She's not wild..."
"SERIOUSLY? She is. We never tamed her, we just made her captive."
"Do we have her dragons?"
"Of course we do.They tried to save her when we took her, so we took them with her."
"We might need to check on them. If we sacrifice one, maybe she'll show her face and give up. Where are they?"
"In another hill."
"What?"
"Hill 983656132. Duh, they told us."
"Than what's Hill 983656131?"
"Here.."
"Than what's Hill 1?"
"Base camp."
"What are the other 983656129 hills?"
"I don't know, how can I remember."
"Than where is Hill 983656132?" Are they seriously going to lead me there? Tarleo hired some dumb guards.
"Hmm.. I believe the Hill towards the East Star. This is the South Star."
"Those don't exist.."
"Follow the Stars in the East. Duh! That's how I remember." I backed away. Did they just seriously talk about it when I was watching? I creeped up the stairs, as quiet as a mouse to not make noise. I dodged the dust prints to make sure I don't pick up dust to show I was there. I heard a creak underneath me to see the two men were climbing up the spiral stairs. If they looked up, they would see me. I hurried my pace and finally broke free. I silently turned back towards the jail cell like door and looked around as I saw the shadows sneaking closer. I saw a dust pile and saw the keys I stepped on before. The two keys for the cage and door. I grabbed it and remembered the straight, pointy one was for the door. I quickly unraveled it, quietly and turned around. The shadows gave way to two men. They looked up from talking and gasped when they saw what I owned in my hand. They yelled and charged at me. One of them tripped on a step and fall onto the concrete metal. The other man jumped towards the door but I closed it just in time, grabbed a bar on the cell like door. He went to open it, but I locked it in time. "Oh man, didn't bring your own key?"
"Who are you? What business do you have with us?!"
"My names not important. So call me Unknown," I smirked at his widened eyes, "Yes, I killed your pals, but that's not important. I must get my trustful dragons."
"You'll never find them." He gave me the same smirk I did. I glared at him with one daring eye.
"Than Tarleo should've teached you to talk when you know no one was listening." He glared angrily at me and yelled. I smirked a devilish smirk, taunting him. Once he looked down to get his keys as fast as possible, I walked away and vanished from his vision as he looked and noticed I was gone. He sighed and fell to the ground, as if too angry to move. I sighed and turned my smirk into my normal, emotionless face. I looked up to see the sun was already rising. I sighed and ran towards the south Stars. It was day now and the Stars had vanished. It felt cold, and I was lost again. I looked forward and glared into the darkness. I walk towards it, pushing the branches and leaves away from my face. Finally, I saw some light and pushed forwards. There, I found a hill guarded by two guards, a torch by the left guard's station, whom stood next to a jail like door. The dragons' cage. I threw my knife at Guard 1, on the left, by his face on the door. He turned around with blood pouring from his cheek. He tripped over the torch and fell on top of it, his blood dripping into the flame that now devoured his body is a boiling mess. I turned to the second guard, who stared at the burning corpse. I grabbed my sword and when he lifted his foot to run at his friend's ashes, I threw my sword that got lodged in the dirt, blocking his path. The tip of his nose started to bleed and I charged at him. He turned to look at me, so I put one hand on his right side, the side without the sword and blocked his way to escape. I reached down and unlatched his sword holder, dropping it to the ground. I glared at him with my bangs covering my left dead, scared eye. I grabbed the rope I had tied on my small belt, incase I had gotten stuck in a bomb hole, and tied it around his shaking neck. He was scared, and he was knew to his job. I unlatched my sword and pointed the side right on his neck, his blood dripping and staining my silver blade. I lifted it back and, with his final scream, I cut off his head above the rope. I lifted my rope and his body fell to the ground, joining his head. I smiled at the gore I created. Burning ashes and a beheaded body, staining the grass with its newly lost head. I grabbed the keys off of the body and looked at the keys. Four of them. One for the door, and three for the dragons. I grabbed my knife and looked at the locked door. I grabbed the key that looked like the key for the door I was captive in and unlatched the door. I looked at the stairs that spiraled downwards. It was like my captive jail. I hurried down the stairs and opened the door that was at the bottom. There, I saw a dark room, covered in dust and three cages. In the three cages were three dragons, all of them were tied to the cages with ropes and chains. I looked around the very dimly lit room and remembered the two torches at the door. I grabbed the one on my right and ran towards Emeralzy, who saw me coming and stared at me in confusion. I saw the lock and heard the two men running down the stairs. If I used keys, it would take too long. I grabbed my knife and hit the lock with the handle three times with all my strength and it snapped in half. I unlocked the door and held the torch under the chain. I heard the men cleared now. They were almost here. When it turned red, I moved to the second chain. Both chains were on her wings, her four feet were held by ropes, she could break them. "There! Stop her!"
