"Sure!"

"Ugh, so where are we going..?" I looked behind me to see the boy was exhausted. Surprising.

"Wherever the North Star leads us." He stared at me in disbelief as I said that.

"What. Seriously? But you know that star leads us nowhere. It's in space."

"I know. Just it might lead us to, you know, like a village or something."

"Ah...I see." He raised his hand above his eyes to see a bit clearer. I did the same. Wait. What was the point of doing this if it's nighttime and not Day? I heard footsteps and I turned around. What was that? An animal? No. We were caught. But I had to stay calm. But then, I might be going crazy. Anyways, I'm fine. I smiled.

"Hey guys! I think I see something!" I had to let them follow me down that hill in front of us. What a coincidence! Anyways, I need for us to go down there to get us out of their sight. I broke off running and jumped down the hill. They followed me.

"I don't-"

"Shh.." I covered his mouth and listened for the person's footsteps so I can catch them as they try to catch up. Or maybe he's not following because- Stomp Stomp. He's coming. Because he kinda disturbed my thoughts which I hated. Just as I heard him peer down the hill. I jumped up, grabbing his legs. We tumbled over and over again until I realized I was on top of him. Huh.. how..? I looked at him and my vision cleared. Tarleo?!

"Tarleo?!" He froze as he heard his name and stared at me.

"H-Hey K-K-Kitty! I was just passing through a-and-"

"You were following us..?" He I got off him and he sat up, rubbing his head. Even if he tried, he can't run in that condition. I smiled. I did good. He sighed.

"Yea, I was. I mean, I saw you sneak out and then meet up with the trainee. So I decided to follow you, Runners."

"Well..would you like to stay and watch people die? I mean, you could follow us. They can find a new leader." He glared at me.

"If I don't?"

"I'll be forced to kill you. You know we left and could send a search party or stop us. So.. I might have to kill before the future and I can kill another person." He sighed again.

"Fine. But I will return back to camp. But won't it be a good idea to fake your death?"

"It doesn't matter. So much death happens they can't keep track of who lives and who dies. For all they know, they think we're dead in the field." He rolled his eyes.

"Sadly, it's true for us, but not you. You saved us so they'll know you left."

"But they can't follow us. Problem solved, now c'mon, prisoner!" I snickered. He groaned.

"Don't...call me that. I'm a traveler like you, escaping from war!" Erian looked back at him and smiled.

"According to you, you sound cooling being called a prisoner, prisoner." Tarleo growled at Erian who was trying to hold in his laugh. And with that, I smiled and looked ahead, not knowing where the freedom led us. All I knew is that this travel will be a long one, maybe a never ending one.

A few days had passed, but it wasn't any fun. We usually camped during night while Dew went hunting. Let's just say, Dew is for hunting, Emeralzy is for guarding and LightingMoon is for attacking. It's fun and al, but I get a tad bored with all of this, 'special Dragon Tamer' type things. People think it's fun, but personally, it's boring and I sometimes wish I were human. Then Tarleo stopped.

"Guys..I found something.. a gorge." I sighed and rolled my eyes at Tarleo.

"We always run into gorges. Well just go around it."

"But there's something in the middle... like a settlement or something. Besides, this is the Royal Gorge. No way will we be able to walk a round it without being caught. We're on the border of enemy territory." I sighed. He ruined the fun. But wait..a place in the middle? I looked harder and raised my hand above my eyes. It worked, it blocked the sun. I saw a few figures running around, kicking something.

"They're playing soccer. We should go over and get a closer look."

"But they might be our enemy!" He looked at me. I grinned at him then turned to Emeralzy

"It's day so, let us hop on." Emeralzy nodded and transformed back into her dragon form. I jumped on and held out my hand. Erian grabbed my hand and I helped him on. Then I let Tarleo grab on. LightingMoon and Dew looked at each other and sighed. They transformed into their tiny dragon form and hopped into my side-pouch. Emeralzy looked back at us to make sure we were all aboard. She then clapped her wings and soared forwards. Erian gasped and held onto me. Tarleo flew backwards then grabbed Erian's shirt with one hand, reaching out for his hat that was blown off his head by Emeralzy's fast take off. I started to laugh at this. Emeralzy kinda did like to show off.. As she flew across the gorge, I looked down and saw Tarleo's hat slowly float down to the darkness and fade to never be seen again. This is one big fall.. I hope I don't have the same fate as the hat.. I looked back ahead and saw that we're already there. Of course, Emeralzy makes a sharp landing and Tarleo flies forward and lands on the dirt and Erian falls sideways off. I laugh and jump off letting LightingMoon and Dew out, who changes into their human forms. Emeralzy growls at the sight of her failure to fling off the other dragons and changes into her human form. "KITTY! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I snicker as Tarleo gets up and screams at her. Erian also gets up and rubs his head as if he was dizzy.

"It's Emeralzy's fault. I can't control how a dragon flys." Emeralzy groans in dominance and turns over to where the small village is. I look over too and see that the villagers have stopped playing. Even though they're a few minutes away from us, it seems that they're looking at us. I look at Tarleo who's staring at the villagers in worry. "Look what you've done. You yelled and little way too loud." I sighed as I knew Tarleo wasn't listening. I heard foot prints behind me, but I ignored the feeling, thinking it's Erian.

"Should we go say hi.. before they kill us for trespassing.." I looked over to my left to where I heard Erian speak. He was next to the three dragons, also joining in on the staring contest with the villagers. I still heard the footsteps. But wait, if we're all here then who's..
