<Erian's P.O.V>

I stared in shock at the crazy smile she pulled. Who was she? She then vanished, leaving only glowing sparkles of where she once stood that vanished before my very eyes. I turned around. She isn't here anymore. She left. "Kitty!" I spun around again and ran back upstairs. I can't believe what I witnessed. Something caught my eye and I saw dusty footprints mixed with blood on the stairs. So she didn't teleport, she's just moving so fast. I followed he traces, gathering some of the blood that she left behind onto my footprints. I finally reached the light of day and entered outside. The footprints had faded and vanished into the forest. Hopefully she decided to kill someone and I'll be able to catch her. Wow, first time I'm ever hoping someone's killing someone else. I sighed at my own words and followed where the footprints should be. "Kitty!?" I scanned the trees and the darkness it created. I heard a stick break behind the bush that was in my way, in the darkness. I gasped and jumped over it, to only trip over something hard. "Ugh...what the heck..?" I turned around and saw Kitty, lying there, tears in her eyes. The sparkles were gone and the hair and wings were gone. And then, her scar was back, keeping her eye closed. I miss what she looked like with her hair long and the scar gone with her hazel eye sparkling with life. I remember her watching me during the war, fear in her eyes. I didn't know she was a Dragon Tamer at that time, and so I went to fight so she did not have to be forced to fight. And now here she is, the life gone and her crazy smile, begging for more blood and souls. It's as if she's possessed with Death.

<Flashback over>

<Kitty's P.O.V>

I stared at him in confusing. "Yea, I remember all of that but, you're weird. Thinking how beautiful I was and now how weird and spooky I was. Besides, who ever said I was scared? I just didn't want to watch lives I could've saved, be taken away before my very eyes." He blushed a bit.

"Well then, you should've acted like it and maybe I wouldn't of risked my life!"

"Whoever told you to do so?" He stared at me. Revenge is so sweet! I giggled. But then I stopped. Right, he betrayed me. "I should go..."

"But you just got here! You need to recover more."

"Why should I trust what medicine you give me?"

"Look, I know it's hard, but I was spying on those Germans the entire time, but they hired me to spy on the Americans, so basically I'm a spy spying on the spys spying on us." He looked hurt.

"Hmm, I thought you didn't look German.." I sighed and looked outside, still chained to the nursery bed, covering the once snow-like covers with blood from where I was shoot. My leg. No blue dots glittered in the ash covered sky.

"Hmm... You could go for a trim on your hair.. or at least grow it out again. It was beautiful long." I looked at Erian.

"Right. I liked it like that too..but now it doesn't hold me back when I fight. Hair's hair. I don't really care if it's long or short anymore." His eyes sparkled with interest as if he remembered something.

"At the village, you mentioned 'Kitty' not being your real name. Can you tell me?" His eyes begged for me to answer. I had to change the subject. This is war, I can't trust him yet with my name.

"Why were you named Erian?" I dodged the subject.

"I don't know..My parents said they named me that because of something stupid, I think it was because my friend's name, who I can't seem to recall had a name close to mine and I said his name and it appeared as Erian..I guess it was because it sounded unique. That's all I can remember.."

"Why? Why can't you remember?" My eyes sparkled with curiosity. His eyes depended with memories and sadness.

"Back when I was ten, my parents and I got into a car accident. They both died. I lost my memory.." he sat there staring at his hands as if deep in thought.

"Afalia."
