Never A Way Out

Cross's POV

I zipped up my pants and sent Lilly out of the room. I had to finish counting my money but my stomach started to growl." Cassidy!" I yelled her name waiting for her to come. What's taking her so long? I got up but just before I could step into the hall Lilly appeared." What is It?" she asked blocking my view. I looked down at her small frame. She looked like a goddess. When she first came It took her a while to obey, but she got It eventually." I called Cassidy not you." I said trying to walk past her but she moved in sync with me." I can get you whatever you need." I looked into her eyes. She looked as If she were hiding something.

" Move." I said sternly. She did as I said stepping out of my way. I walked down the stairs to the girls bedroom. I felt Lilly following behind me. When I opened the door the room was empty." I'm only going to ask you this once. Where are they?" Her eyes widened and she shook her head no." I-I-I don't know." I'm getting tired of playing these games with these girls. I took a step towards her and she took a step back." Don't run from me Lilly." I said taking another step. This time she turned and started to run down the hall.

Lilly's POV

I took off down the hall. I bumped into something hard when I turned the corner causing me to fall on my back. Rosewald grabbed me by my arm roughly. He stood there waiting for Cross to come around the corner. As his foot steps got closer I struggled to get out of his tight grip. Rosewald pushed me into Cross and he gripped me up immediately." Go find them." He ordered. He looked down at me before slapping me across my face." I feel betrayed. You thought there was a way out? There's never a way out." Tears started to fall as he started to drag me to his office.

" No!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as he headed towards me. Three hits to my face before he started to choke me. I felt the blood seep from my nose down to my lips. I stared into his eyes. It's sad that his eyes are the last thing I'm seeing before I go. I've been ready to go for a long time. I was never going to see my father again but at least I wouldn't be suffering anymore. Just when everything started to go black and I started to not feel anymore he let me go. Why? I slid down his desk onto the floor. He kicked me in my ribs multiple times." Please!" I cried spitting up blood. I started to crawl away but was gripped by my hair." It turns me on when you beg." He whispered in my ear then hit my head on the floor. He grabbed the back of my shirt with everything I had in me I punched him. My shirt ripped leaving me in my bra and leaving the scars on my back open to see.

He stumbled back a couple of steps." You-.." His words trailed off by the sound of the door opening. Tate came in holding Camille by her arms." Where's the other one?" Cross asked. I looked at Camille. She had tears in her eyes." Dead." Tate answered." See what you did?!" Cross grabbed Tate's gun out of his holder and pointed It at me. I looked down at floor. My hair covered my face and I just started to cry. I really thought they would get away and now Cassidy's dead. " No! No! It was my idea!" Camille screamed. I don't even think she was thinking when she said that.

Trevor's POV

I had put Emerald to sleep. I felt bad for leaving her here by herself but I'm sure she wouldn't wake up. We were about to leave when I stopped to look at the news. Cassidy was on there." Yo Xavier!" I called. He came out of the bathroom and looked at the t.v." Cassidy Davis was found at a local gas station. The police said the teenage girl was bleeding out. She was rushed to Lane Hospital and is lucky to be alive and reunited with her family. The owner of the gas station died from three gun shot wounds-.." Xavier cut the the TV off. They didn't say anything about Camille." They still have Mille." He said putting a gun in his hip holder." I know let's go get her."
