Chapter 3

A smile crept on my face as I turned around to see who the person calling my name was. I walked forward and gave the boy in front of me a hug. As we pulled away I could see that the people I assumed was his friends was confused a long with Harry and Niall.

"Hi Ash. What are you doing here?" I asked surprised. He was showing off his dimpled smile.

"My friends and I are moving in. What about you?" I placed one hand on my hip before answering.

"Oh I live here" Ashton was clearly surprised by this. I heard someone cough behind me and saw the boys leaning on the door frame waiting for me to introduce them.

"Ashton, this is my boyfriend Niall and our friend Harry." I said and the boys walked forward and shook Ashton's hand. After Niall had shook his hand he wrapped it around my waist. I saw that Ashton looked down at it for a second before going back to smiling. I looked up at Niall and saw that he smiled back but I also noticed that he's jaw was tensed. Was he jealous? I wanted to laugh at the thought but decided against it.

"Meet my friends. Calum and Michael." Ashton introduced the boys behind him and I shook their hands. Harry and Niall did the same. "And the last one moving in with us is Luke but he's not here for the moment." Ashton explained and I nodded my head.

"Well do you guys need any help?" I asked. Ashton looked over at the boys before turning to me.

"The couch was actually the last thing, but thank you for the offer." He said politely.

"Well, then I guess I'll see you guys around then. Nice to meet ya." I said and waved. They said goodbye and I walked inside the flat and started to clean up after the guys.

Harry and Niall both stared at me while I cleaned. It went a while and I could still feel their stares so I turned towards them.

"What?" I asked.

"How do you know him?" Niall asked. "He's my friend" I shrugged.

"Harry could you wait in the spare bedroom?" Niall asked him and I furrowed my eyebrows. "I think I'll actually head home. Thank you guys for letting me stay." He said and walked towards the door.

"Anytime!" I yelled after him and heard the door shut. I put a strain of my hair behind my ear as I waited for Niall to talk.

"When did you meet him?" His jaw was tensed for the second time today.

"I met him before we got together. Aren't I allowed to have friends?" I snapped annoyed.

"Not when they are looking at you like that..." he huffed.

"Excuse me?" Niall was pissing me off now. Who the hell are him to decide who I want to be friends with?

"I'm just saying. He was looking at you like you were a fresh piece of meat." He trailed off.

"He was not! Can you stop being so jealous? He has a girlfriend for god's sake!" The anger was boiling inside of me. After I had mentioned that Ashton had a girlfriend he seemed to relax. He walked closer to me and put a hand on my cheek while stroking it with his thumb.

"I'm-m sorry I didn't...." He started to stutter an apology but I quickly interrupted him.

"You didn't know? No wonder when you are so quick judging people before even knowing them!" Niall needed to know that he couldn't just have a outburst and then expect me to be fine with it. He had a very short temper and a large rage but I haden't seen it for a while. I sighed and looked up at him.

"Ashton is not going to be a problem. He's just a friend, Niall. And he is super nice." I said and hoped that he would let his anger go. His face expression softened and pulled me in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist and we stood there for minutes in complete silence.

"I'm sorry Lex, It's just that you're mine, okay?" He asked nervously.

"I'm yours. No doubt in that. But you have to promise to be nice towards Ashton. He's a really great guy." I told Niall seriously. He had to get along with Ashton and his friends considering that they are our new neighbours.

"I promise." He mumbled and I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek. I went back to cleaning the kitchen. I placed the plates into the dishwasher. I finished rather quickly and then I slumped down at the couch. I closed my eyes for a moment and before I knew it, I was fully asleep.

"LeLe!" I thought I heard someone shout. Then it went quiet so I just shrugged it off. But then I heard the same voice again. "LeLe!" I opened my eyes and wiped them with my hands before looking out into the room.

Right in front of me stood Alison with her brown hair up in a cute ponytail.

When she noticed that I was awake, she let out a giggle.

"Hey sunshine. What are you doing here?" I asked while sitting up and taking her up on my lap.

"Daddy wanted to visit." She said shortly and I placed her on my waist while raising myself up from the couch and made my way over to he kitchen. Niall and Liam sat there talking when I entered the kitchen.

"Hey Li" I sad while placing Alison on the kitchen counter. I poked her dimple which made her smile even more.

"Hi Lex. Ali and I just decided to stop by." Liam answered and I nodded my head.

"So what's up?" I asked casually. "Not much. But we have to go now. Come here Ali." Liam said.

"Bye. And thanks for the advice." Niall said when they walked out of the door.

"What was that all about?" I rose an eyebrow towards Niall but he just shrugged his shoulders. "What advice?" Niall just smirked and I slapped his shoulder. What was he and Liam up to?

(A/N: I promise that this book will get more exciting! It's just a little slow in the start. Omg I have so much planned out for this book, I can't wait. Btw I'm so proud of One Direction at the brit awards. And 5sos looked really good *Smirks*
