Chapter 21

Lexie's POV:

I was horny as fuck. And I know that it's totally safe to have sex when you're pregnant but I got strict orders from my doctor not to move around much which meant that I couldn't have sex. Which was totally unfair. But than again our baby and I survived so I am beyond happy but I was looking forward to a good fuck with Niall once the baby is out.

"Lexie we're going to be late!" Niall's voice rang trough the flat and interrupted my thoughts. I groaned as I finished putting on my mascara.
I waddled out of the bathroom and down the hall where Niall was waiting impatient.

"You're so slow." He complained and I showed him my middle finger before taking my vans on and waddling out the door. Niall locked the door behind my and then found my side, intertwining our hands.

We were on our way to our doctor appointment and today we would finally get to know the sex of the baby. I had the chance to know it months ago but I wanted to wait so Niall and I could hear it the first time together.

My hormones had kicked in and were all over the place. I was tired, horny and annoyed. And my back was still hurting like a bitch. I am ready to pop this baby out.

Niall drove us to the doctor and we were now sitting in the waiting room. Niall was scrolling on his phone while I was picking on my nails, bored of waiting.
I was restless and lent over to my side so I could look at Niall's phone. He looked up at me confused.

"What are you doing?" I asked curious.
Niall put an arm behind my chair and looked into my eyes with a grin playing on his delicious lips.

"I'm letting the family know that we're going to find out the sex of our baby today." he said.

"Oh yeah. Calum begged me to take him with us today and when I tried to explain to him that I wanted us as the parents to know first he scoffed and saying that was a lame reason. He claimed that he had a right to know first because he is one of the baby's uncles." I laughed and Niall joined. We sat there laughing until Niall stopped.

"He his so excited. I mean everyone is but he has been going around saying that he will be the best." He said and I smiled in return.

"He's so cute though. With his chubby cheeks. The baby is going to love play with them." I laughed again and Niall nodded.

"Lexie it's your turn up!" Dr Connor called.

"Let's do this." I said and dragged Niall up from his chair and into the doctors office.

I laid down on the table as Dr. Connor was about to interrogate Niall. I just knew it.

"So you're the baby father? I'm so happy that I finally got to meet you. How was the business trip?" she asked while they shook hands. I had explained to Niall that I had told her that he was on a business trip while he was away.

"Good." Niall shook her hand back and sat down in a chair beside me. Dr. Connor nodded and then started to prepare the ultrasound. I inhaled and exhaled before I felt the cold jell on my stomach. I was looking up at the white ceiling until I felt Niall grab my hand. I turned towards while smiling sheepishly.

"So please tell me that you want to find out the sex of the baby today. Please." Dr. Connor begged. She was almost more impatient.

"Yes." I said and she squealed. Niall flashed a smile.

"I already know it considering I am a doctor but I will show you the ultrasound so we can check that everything is okay especially since the bleeding you have and then I will tell you the sex of your little miracle." She smiled and I nodded.

"Nervous, babe?" Niall whispered in my ear, still holding my hand.

"I just hope everything is okay. What about you? Your first ultrasound." I smiled while ruffling his hair a bit with the hand that wasen't holding his.

"I know everything will be okay and yeah, I'm pretty excited." He said while placing a sloppy kiss to my cheek that made me blush.

"Ready?" Dr. Connor asked and I nodded. She placed the device onto my stomach and moved it around until she found the heartbeat. When she finally found it I looked over at Niall who sat with watery eyes.

"That's your baby." She pointed at the screen. "And that's the heartbeat." Niall inhaled deeply and my smiled turned into a frown.

"Are you okay?" I asked while squeezing his hand. He squeezed it hard back. His other hand went up to dry his eyes and then pushing some of my hair out of my face.

"I'm more than okay baby. We made this." He said while a few tears escaped his eyes.

"I love you." I said and he came closer so he could hug me. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he squeezed me hard.

"I love you more." He whispered in my ear before giving me on last squeeze before sitting back in his chair. His hand found mine again."

"Sorry doctor. Please continue." he said and Dr. Connor nodded while smiling at us. I removed the tears that had welled up in my eyes with the sleeve of my sweater before looking back at the screen.

"Okay. Everything is alright from you bleeding. Everything looks perfect. So are you ready?" she asked and we both nodded our heads.

"You're having a boy. Congratulations!" she announced and I turned to look at Niall who wore the biggest smile ever. Before I could say anything he kissed me with such force. We were now crying, kissing and laughing.

"We're having a son." Niall said while our foreheads rested against each other's. "Yeah:" I agreed and with that he pressed his lips against my forehead leaving a lingering kiss.

Niall had been so cheery and bubbly the whole car ride home and I had to admit that I was quite happy too. It had finally hit me. I was twenty three nearly twenty four, living with my boyfriend of three years and I was pregnant with our baby. Our son. It was overwhelming but I couldn't be more happy. We were now walking up the stairs to our flat.

"Let's say hi to the boys." I said but Niall didn't respond. I knocked on Ashton's door but no one opened. The door was locked so I just guessed that they were somewhere outside.

"They're not home." I mumbled and Niall dragged me towards our door. He unlocked the flat and when he turned on the lights everyone hopped out from different places into the flat. Dani, Liam, Ashton everyone was here. "Surprise!" They yelled which made me laugh.

"So tell us the gender!!" Perrie screamed.

"Do you want to tell them or should I?" Niall asked while wrapping his arm around my waist bringing me closer to him. His eyes were sparkling and I knew for sure that he was happy.

"Go ahead." I told him and he placed a kiss to my cheek.

"We're having a son!" Niall yelled and everyone cheered and came forward and hugged me and Niall. After everyone had calmed down, Calum spoke up.

"So I vote for "Calum" as the baby name." he said with a shrug which made everyone laugh. This is it. This is reality.

(A/N: I finally updated! Greece was great! And the amnesia video had me crying. I have read so many books this vacation. I hope everyone is good!
