Telling Rocky and Christmas Presents

Chapter 12
Last time
"Alright, but I'm serving you dinner again so I can make sure you eat"
"Um you won't be able to do that" I say looking down
"Why not"
"I ummm" I look at the boys for help, pleading them to tell him.

"Rock Maya's going to New York tonight to spend Christmas with Sammy, she's going to meet us in Vegas on my Birthday" Ross tells him, I give him a small smile in thanks.
"You're leaving?" he asks, hurt clear in his voice, he moves me off his lap.
"Roc-" he cuts me off moving me off him
"No, you were so mad at me for leaving, you told me yesterday morning you wouldn't leave, and now you're just leaving without even talking to me, What The Hell Maya!" he shouts at the end, tears form in my eyes, Rocky never yells at me, only on the very rare occasion and that's normally if some else has pissed him off and he's really tired or doesn't feel well, even then its like a 1 in billion chance.
"Dude, chill your going to scare her" Riker says as Ross moves to sit next to me.
"I can't believe you Maya, you know I wanted to finally spend a Christmas with you and your 16th and now you're just leaving" he yells,
"Rocky calm the hell down dude, if you had asked her why she was leaving, she's going because it hurts her to much to be here around this time, its to hard and not a long enough break since what happened with her family, she was terrified that you'd be angry and upset that she was leaving, she told me she'd stay to make you happy even if it was hurting her so much, but I told her, you love her enough to be ok with her going I thought out of all people you would understand how much she was hurting, I told her yeah you'd be upset but not angry, I was clearly wrong." Ross says his voice strong but not yelling or that loud. Rocky opens his mouth, then closes it again, his facial expression changes from anger to sorrow and guilt. He moves back next to me, opening his arms, I know he's going let me go to him, I don't hesitate to wrap my arms around him.
"Ross is right Maya, you should go, I'll miss you but I want you to be comfortable and happy, I know how much you miss them especially around now"
"I love you" I whisper; he grins letting out a sigh of relief.
"Love you too shortie" I roll my eyes at one of his nicknames for me. We chat for a little more, then head down stairs. Gus is back but he's on his phone not paying attention to anyone else, I frown that's not like him especially not at this time of year or even just when there quite a lot of family around he's normally more social then that.
"Everything all sorted?" Rydel asks, as we sit down, I sit in-between Rock and Ry curled up to Rocky's side holding Ryland's hand and playing with his fingers, I do that a lot with people when I'm bored or nervous or sometimes upset or uncomfortable, I don't know why I just do.
"Yeah everything's great" Rocky says placing a light kissing on my forehead.
"Great let's do presents with Maya now, but save Maya's birthday ones for Ross's birthday because we'll do a joint thing then"
"No I don't want you to do that it's Ross's birthday"
"Maya, I want to share it with you, there's only one day in-between, so no arguing" Ross says
"Fine. Rock are our presents still in our room?"
"Yah, I'll go get them" I look over at Gus, he's still on his phone, I frown looking down at Ryland's hand and start playing with the bracelets he has on, I normally only play with the bracelets when I'm upset on uncomfortable.
"What's wrong" Ry leans down closer to me so no one else will be able to hear. I just shrug, I don't want to fight with anyone anymore I don't want to cause anymore drama when I leave so soon, Ry nudges my shoulder with his head, I look up at him. He raises his eyebrows in question.
"It's fine I'll be ok, I just want to move past it, no more drama just presents and chilling with my fav boys and girls before I go" I tell him, he nods and pulls his hand away from mine and wraps it around me pulling me into his side,
"Soooooo" he says, his voice back to normal.
"What did you get me?" he asks, I roll my eyes as a few of the others laugh,
"You'll find out"
"Can't you just tell me Rocky is taking foreverrrr"
"No"
"Please"
"No"
"Please Maya I love you so much, Pretty Please with nerds on top" I laugh, thinking back to when I first said that, now its mine and Ry's thing when ever we really wanted something. I'd been friends with the Lynch's for about a year and a bit, and it was just Ry we were having a movie marathon, with lots of junk food, and I wanted the big box of nerds and raspberry cordial, but they don't let me have to much of either thing cause I get hyper when I have them, so I did my puppy dog face and said 'Please RyRy I love you so much pretty please with nerds on top' then he gave them to me so yeah.
"Fine, I got you something Sport related" I tell him neither of us can say no to the other when they say that, but we hardly ever say it.
"What sport?"
"You'll find out, ok you can be the first to open the presents from me" he grins, hugging me
"Hahah, sucks to be you" he says to the rest of the family,
"Ryland" Stormie scolds,
"Sorry mummy" he says, making me giggle, he sticks his tongue out at me, jabbing my side making me squeal and squirm.
"Stormieeeee, Ryland's being mean to me" I whine, he immediately stops.
"Ryland, apologise, and behave or else I won't let you open Maya's present"
"Haha, sucks to be you" I whisper in his ear, as I see Rocky come down the stairs, I walk over grabbing the smaller bag off him. I just bought mostly cloths for everyone a few small aftershaves for the (non lynch or Ell) boys, I bought the Lynch kids, Ell, Court and Vanni concert tickets to The Script, for the adults I got a reservations for a night at a very expensive new restaurant, meals and drinks paid for. I got Ryland a hockey stick signed by his favourite player, I did get him a ticket to The Script too because I didn't want him to get left out, plus they are staying at my 'family's' hotel when they play so I kind of got a discount, and they've stayed there before, and I met them then. I don't really get star struck with many artists because a lot of them have stayed at the hotel the only person I'd freak out about would be Selena Gomez I've always loved her, she the artist for me who's helped me through everything. I mean R5, Ry and their fam have but I'm basically part of the family any way so they aren't really famous or anything like that to me. If your wondering how I have this much money it's cause of the hotel business, the ones my parents owned, the family business, which I help run even if I am super young I'm not the head of it but I still own them, if that makes sense (The hotel is near the main concert place or something so whenever artist tour they normally stay at it cause its easy to get to from the arenas I don't live in LA and have never been there so yeah).
"Alright Maya I'm ready for my present" Ryland says, I roll my eyes.
"Fine only cause I know your annoying everyone" I tell him grabbing his present out of the bag and handing it to him.
"Ohhhhh I wonder what this could be" he says sarcastically holding the hockey stick the others laugh rolling their eyes at him. I roll my eyes,
"None of you will guess the full answer it isn't just what you think" I say smirking
"What?" he asks confused, I shrug motioning for him to open it, He opens it and his mouth falls open.
"Holy shit Maya, how... is it real... what... how did you..." he stutters out.
"Ryland language" Stormie scolds
"Sorry" he mutters still fixated on the hockey stick his fingers running over the signature, the other boys come over and look over his shoulder at it and their mouths drop open too.
"Sh—I mean, wow how did you get that" Riker asks,
"That's for me to know and you guys to never find out" I tell them smirking
"Except me right?" Rocky says, I roll my eyes, if Rocky asked how I got it I'd probably tell him cause he's Rocky. I hand out the others presents, Ross and Riker freak out when they get the tickets, they were the biggest fans of The Script in the family. The adults are really excited for the dinner and the rest of the family love their cloths and things. For Gus's present I got something a little different, though it's also part of his birthday present, I let him know on his birthday that he'd get a big present for Christmas so I just gave him a few vouchers to his favourite stores.
"Here this is your birthday Christmas present" I tell him taking it out of the bag and handing it to him. He gives me a smile taking it, the others are chatting quietly as he opens it, I see his eyes widen, his mouth drops open and he quickly stands up but then freezes the present held tightly in his hands.
"Gus, dude you ok" Rocky says chuckling as he waves his hand in front of his cousins face, Rocky's the only one who knew what it was. Everyone's attention falls on Gus who's still standing there frozen.
"GUS!" Ross shouts causing Gus to jump, he places the present down then pulls me into the tightest hug.
"Maya, how did you even, thank you so much, it's perfect, its so amazing, I love it so much, thank you" I smile hugging him back.
"They owed me a few favours from the last time they stayed at the hotel." Ryland picks up Gus's present and his eyes widen.
"Dammmmm Gus" he mutters; Gus grabs it off Ryland.
"Don't touch, it's to special only I can touch it and wear it" he says, I roll my eyes.
"uhh what about me, I deserve to wear it too" he nods sitting back down and pulling me next to him.
"fine but only you, cause you're a bit more special to me then the jacket is" he says whispering the last part, I look down hiding my blush.
"What is it?" Courtney asks
"It's a Marron 5 bomber jacket, but signed by them, it was a limited addition one, they only sold like 10 and even those ones didn't have the signatures on them"
"Wow, how did you manage to get it M?"
"The band owed me from the last time the stayed at the hotel" the others nod, my phone vibrates indicating I've been tagged in something on Instagram
"Ohhh Maya, Jake tagged you in a photo on Instagram" Ry says as he grabs my phone off the coffee table and opens it,
"Dammm that's a really cute photo, you know him kissing you on the check doesn't really show that your like brother and sister" I roll my eyes taking it from him looking at the photo and smiling.
"No but the caption, reunited with my old befriend or sister from another mister, missed you so much @MayazingSarcasmQueen <3, kind of does."
"Ohh I want to see this pic" Rydel says, I sigh getting up and handing her my phone,
"Awww you're so cute together" I roll my eyes going back to my seat, I take a quick glance at Gus and see the jacket in his lap but he's on his phone again texting away.
"Maya you two should seriously think about going out your so cute" Rydel says as she hands me my phone back, I shake my head, there's no point in saying no, I'm about to say he has a girlfriend when I hear a phone ringing,
"Hey" I turn to see it was Gus's phone, normally when its family time, especially Christmas he doesn't text or talk to anyone he's hardly on his phone.
"Yeah, ok calm down, yeah I'll be there soon" he replies as he stands up.
"Mum Kyla's here with her family but her parents got into a really big fight and she's really upset can I go see her?" he asks slipping his phone back into his pocket, she sighs but nods.
"Don't be gone to long and call me when you get there" he nods
"Dude do you need a lift" Riker asks,
"Nah she's just down the hill and a few houses down" he waves goodbye then he's gone. I just hope he's back in time to say goodbye to me.

I leave in about 30 minutes and Gus still isn't back, we are all just talking and I'm scrolling through my phone, I just posted a snapchat of me and Ryland, my heart stops as I see the latest photo Gus posted on Instagram

Ok so here's another chapter
Just another reminder I forget started this cause a few people asked me to write a Gus fanfic but at the moment I'm not sure if it's going to end up being that. So it's just an R5 (and their fam and friends) and Shawn Mendes with a few others
