My life shatters,
right before my eyes.
I'm broken once again,
as I turn and walk away.
Tired of the games and the lies,
of the disapointment in your eyes.
I'm done, I quit.
You win.
Never doing anything right,
I do everything wrong.
Never good enough,
I stand abandoned.
Nowhere else to go,
I leave behind what little I have left.
I go to my room,
to my faithful friend.
The one that releases my pain,
through blood that runs cold.
The friend who's always there,
no matter what happens.
With the blade,
the pain goes away.
The searing pain makes me realize I'm alive.
The searing pain that reminds me I'm alive.
