The pain is just too much,
I can't take it anymore.
I grab the gun,
I've had enough.
You've gone too far.
and I've taken too much.
You'll get what you wanted,
me dead.
You never wanted me alive,
I was never supposed to live.
I hold the gun to my chest,
and with shakey hands,
and one final sigh,
By the rules I will not abide.
I pull the trigger.
I collapse to the floor,
searing pain in my chest.
The pain slows and turns numb.
You'll get what you wanted,
and I'll be in peace.
I feel the warm blood as it flows out.
You no longer have to pout.
Just a little longer...
My eyes started to close,
and I started to smile for the last time.
I'm finally at rest, and you got what you wanted.
You always have, and always will.
