Three days laterI was able to get an extension on the house to decide. I have to tell them today, I'm expecting a call at noon.
We sat around the breakfast table drinking coffee, starring at the phone. We are all lost in our thoughts. I know with this decision I'm making a good one, it's the only way...
"Do you know, what you want to do?" Tony asked me for the fifth time today.
"Yes" I said continuing to stare at the phone.
"Are you sure?" He asked again for the sixth time. He really starting to annoy me..
"Tony shut up!" Amilia said annoyed too.
Ring, ring, ring, ring
I jumped at the sound of my cell phone ringing. We all just starred at the phone nervous.
"Answer it" Sophia said sliding the phone to me. I answered the phone and stood up...
Me: "hello"
Lawyers: "hi, Olivia. Have you made your decision?"
Me: "yes I have" I told him stalking a little.
Lawyers: "and that is?"
I took a deep breath. "I'm going to keep the house"
Lawyers: "I'm glad to here this, we will keep in touch. You take care"
Me: "you too, thank you"
Click
"AHHH!!! You keeping the house!!" Sophia said jumping out her seat.
"I'm keeping it, I have too. It's the only thing I have left of them" I said smiling and truly happy on my decision.
"Aunt Mona and Uncle Mark will be so happy" Amilia said with fresh tears.
"I hope so" I said with fresh tears threatening to come out.
We gave each other a hug and sat back down... I couldn't help but be happy. I'm keeping my parents house, my home. This house has a lot of meaning behind it....
"When do you want to start cleaning?" Sophia asked me.
"Tomorrow" I told her and she nodded happy.
"We need to call everyone and tell them." Amilia said.
"Let's get them on the phone" Sophia said.
We called and told them the news, they are so excited an thrilled that I want to keep the house. My grandparents were crying with happiness. I know this is the right decision and I'm so happy. They are coming tomorrow morning to help us clean the house.
When Liam and Chase came back from working we told them the news. Chase was so happy and wanted to go out and celebrate, Liam, he just half smiled and nodded, whatever that means. We decided to go out for lunch and walk around. The town is so small that everyone knew us and vise versa. Bumping into friends and old teachers, catching up. I miss my town, so much.We ended up being out all day, shopping and eating lunch, ice cream and eating dinner. It was a fun chill day, no drama just relaxing.
Next Day
We pulled up to my house and parked on the street. We got out of the Jeeps, ready to begin. I opened the trunk letting Max out. He ran to the house and I opened the door.
