I kept running even in the forest, my feet just wouldn't stop no matter what my mind told them. Before I could skid to a stop, out of no where a branch intervened my running, as I tripped, tumbling down a bit of a hill.

I landed with a thud, I was out of breath, my heart threatening to beat out of my chest. My head felt foggy after I hit it on a rock on the way down. After a moment spent to calm myself down, I took in my surroundings. I was surrounded by great large Burley needle trees, blocking any light from the sun. Fog covered the floor of the forest, covering most of me in grey mist.

I slowly stood up feeling a little dizzy, wondering what the hell I was going to do. For tonight I need to find a place to hideout just incase they were going to look for me.

There were a number of places I could hide, in a tree, under a bit of brush and bush, or cover up with something. I decided I would stay in the bushes and a bit of brush, because it would hide me better and I have nothing to keep me in place if I stayed in the tree.

All I had with me were the cloths on my back so I had nothing to eat or cover up with, but since it was getting dark and I kept hearing noises from frightening animals I deciding to get set up for the night. I sat against a tree behind a great big green bush, trying not to move too much or its needles would stab me.

As I lay there, my situation became more and more aware to me. Since I had no time to think much I hadn't thought how horrible all of this was. Where were my parents? Were they ok? Why did the military units attack our city? Why did they have bluish skin? What was I gonna do?

Soon my questions faded away as my exhaustion settled in. I drifted into a hard, dreamless sleep as the cold airy night swallowed me into darkness.
