I summoned the courage up to knock on the door twice lightly. No one answered, I checked to see if the door was unlocked which it was and peeked my head through only to find the green eyed beauty lay asleep on the sofa. She was breath taking without even trying.
I walked in closer to her and contemplated how I would wake her up, in the end I shook her shoulder lightly "Lauren, you need to wake up, the show is starting soon". She started to stir in her sleep. God, how am I going to keep my composure she starts something in me I've never felt before and going through what we did together has intensified it so much more. She fluttered her eyes open looking confused until she saw me. She smiled softly, she must have realised we haven't spoken since the incident because she started frowning.
"Hi, um I'm sorry I had to leave so quickly you know the other day".
I looked her in the eyes before quickly looking away and brushing a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"It's okay I understand, I just wanted to make sure you was okay".
Lauren put her hand on top of mine and I could have sworn she could hear my heart beating out of my chest.
"I'm okay, honestly I think we were more worried about each other that ourselves". I felt so content being sat here with her, I could melt into her touch, she must have noticed me looking at her hand because she quickly moved it away, I mean for all I know it would have been a sincere move she might not even like women.
I was slightly shocked at her confession.
"You were worried about me?".
She knew she didn't have to answer that it was more of a statement but she did anyways. Her raspy voice filling my ears, it had become the new sound I could play through my head and listen to maybe forever. "Of course I was, we went through that and I just left you, I felt so guilty". I looked at her apologetically and felt bad instantly that she felt like that. All I wanted was to reassure her but I didn't want to cross any boundaries. She was staring at me by now, not caring how it would look as she was quite comfortable with me it seemed. Someone knocked on the door stopping our conversation. We both looked at who had now opened the door, revealing a brown haired girl who was a runner for the show. She seemed timid around Lauren, I guess the whole celebrity thing put her on edge. "Hi, sorry to interrupt, but you need to start making your way to the auditorium we start in 15". Lauren gave her a small thanks before turning back to me. "So your here to mic me up?". I kept my eyes on the floor not daring to look her in the eyes to be absorbed into her endless pit of green. I just smiled and silently asked for permission to clip it all to her and check it was okay. She turned back around to me and sighed. "Why won't you look at me?". She asked so bluntly. "I'm sorry, I'm not very good with all of that".
I looked up at her briefly, I was about to say something else but thought better of it before turning around and walking out the door. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack.

Walking back I made my way into the toilets to catch my breath and make myself feel better. She must have thought I was an idiot. I walked in rather lately to the auditions, Lauren caught my eye and held my gaze looking at me skeptically. The show began and audition after audition. It was very exhausting and took a lot just filming, I was doing the music for the artists today which kept me busy. I was kind of looking forward to having a drink later and relaxing, it sounds like a pretty good idea now. It was around 5 o'clock and the audience had now all left, I was packing the sound desk away as we were moving to Manchester for the last of the auditions. I saw Lauren from a far just talking with other general staff, I tried not too look for too long in fear of being caught by her or other people. Harry walked up to me. "Thanks for today you have been great, you should go back to the hotel and get ready for tonight I can finish the rest, I know how you girls like to have time to get ready".
I just laughed at him and his sterio typing. "Sure thanks! I'll meet you in the lobby at 9 then, see you later". He said bye.

I then went and found Simon to go and get a lift back with him. He was in the reception area chatting to producers and other management staff probably business knowing Simon. He saw me waiting for him and gestured for me to come over. "You ready to go then?".
"Yeah I have been invited out later so I need to go and get ready".
He grinned at me. "You are making small steps in the world blimey".
I punched his arm lightly. "Very funny come on let's go".
We went outside, there were screaming fans who had been waiting all day just for a glimpse of the judges. It's a shame really waiting all that time just to look at someone. We got in the car before Simon told the driver. "We're just waiting on one more." There was only one seat left next to me. I was wondering who we was waiting for until my question was answer.
My breath hitched, I should have known it would be the green eyed girl who captivated me since I had met her. She got in the taxi not noticing it was me she was sitting next to before I felt her look at me, I swear I could hear her breathing change just like mine did.
Our skin was touching and I felt like I was on fire.
"Hi" she said quietly so only I could hear. "Hi back". I was rather awkward right now, my side pressed against her. We were too close for my liking, but I was liking it at the same time, I confuse my self so much sometimes. "How's your day been?" I was a bit surprised she actually wanted to talk to me and know how my day went. "It was okay, mundane but you know, what about yours?" I hesitated.
" it was hectic as usual to say the least, a bit over whelming with all of the fans screaming and shouting". Simon was looking at us by now trying to listen to our conversation with a raised eye brow. I stared him down giving him the evils for ease dropping and being suggestive. "So Camila we are leaving at 5:30 tomorrow morning, you can come on our bus, it will be more relaxed". What stunt was he trying to pull now or was he actually being nice. "I mean if that's alright I don't want to intrude". I said shyly.
"No your not, i insist".
"Well is it okay if I take my stuff down there tonight as I'm going out later and I don't know what time we will be back". I was looking down fiddling with my fingers, a nervous tick I had.
"You going out on a date?"
Why would Simon ever think that I don't know. I saw Lauren look up as she heard the word date.
"No are you having a laugh, everyone is going out tonight and Harry invited me". I heard Lauren let out a long deep breath. She must be thinking hard about something she seems tense.

"Well I'm glad your finally socializing, the code for the bus is 1403, so just let yourself on whenever".
"Thank you Simon".
We then went around a roundabout which I wasn't paying attention to and I fell into Lauren, she smelt phenomenal, I started blushing hard. I could tell Simon noticed because he was smirking, I then looked up at Lauren and told her sorry, her cheeks covered crimson red, she refused to meet my eye looking away and down at the floor or her shoe. The tension was so thick, I was thankful we had pulled up at the hotel, the door was opened and I quickly jumped out, I had a moment of confidence and held my hand out to Lauren as I knew it was a big step down and she was wearing heels. She looked me in the eye and back at my hand almost as if deciding whether to take it or not. Thankfully she accepted and she slipped her hand into mine, I've never felt such intense butterflies from this simple interaction, I could feel my cheeks heat up again. She was closely stood next to me. "Thank you for doing that, I thought I was going to hit the floor". I chucked at her. "It's okay, anytime". Why am I a mess around her, I can never think of the right things to say or how to make
Conversation.

We got all of our stuff before descending on the hotel, me Simon and Lauren made our way up to our room, Lauren looked like she was struggling with her bag and I was hardly taking anything. "Let me take that, i don't want you injuring yourself".
She looked at me contemplating. "No it's okay don't worry".
She was putting up a fight that I was going to win. "Come on seriously it's got no wheels I can carry it for you'. Simon was enjoying watching all of this silently. "Yeah let her carry it, she's never usually this nice". She caved in and said thank you and eyed us both curiously. I carried her Bag all the way to her door. "Thank you for doing that you didn't have to". I just gleamed at her. "That's okay do you want me to set it down in your room". Not sure whether going into her room would cross a boundary or not. "Um yeah sure if that's okay". I just nodded and rolled on my feet as I waited for her to open her door. I walked in behind her, naturally checking the place was secure, with her I feel like I need to keep her safe. I set the bag down and as I looked up I caught her eyes already on me, we just stared at each other for a few seconds. "So I'm gonna go but I'll be in my room till like 8 if you need anything". I don't know why I said that maybe I hoped she wanted to hang out or something. "Thanks, I guess I'll see you later". I just nodded before leaving her room and going back to mine. Getting ready and waiting for tonight's events to begin.
