Studio

I spent the afternoon writing more songs whilst I had no clue to where Lauren was. I decided to take a stroll to go and find Simon to show him some of the songs. I ended up at his hotel room.
Knock knock ... "Come in".
I walked in quietly to see Simon sat on a couch. "Hey Si" I grinned.
"To What do I owe the pleasure?" Simon smirked.
"Just came to show you some songs".
After I played them to him he praised me. "If you ever happen to tell Lauren these songs are about her she will definitely not be able to turn you down". I shot him a puzzled look.
"What makes you think they are about her?" He raised his eye brows at me.
"Oh come on I may be old but I'm not blind, you should just tell her".
I frowned looking down at the ground not making eye contact.
"It's not as simple as" he cut me off.
"The fame oh yes I know, but she is worth or is she not?".
I sat there paused for a second.
"It's too risky, I would have to come clean with everything".
"Oh come on Camila is that such a bad thing". Our conversation had ended, I was to exhausted to be having a debate about this. The thing is, if I told her how I felt and if any part of her even liked me, it would be complicated, I would have to tell the world my two big secrets, I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

Later that night I was reading a book, till I heard the door unlock. Lauren graced me with her prescience as beautiful as ever. "Hey" she blissfully smiled. I just mumbled a "hi".
We both did our routine before bed, sneaking each other glances. We both climbed in to bed. There was a silence that was almost awkward but comfortable at the same time. It had been about 30 minutes and I still could not sleep so I rolled over to face Lauren to see her wide eyes boring into mine. "Can't sleep either?" I questioned her.
"Maybe if we cuddle that will help?"
She ignored my question and asked another. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks. "Um sure I guess if that's okay with you". She nodded her head and lifted her arm up for me to come closer. I relaxed immediately in her embrace, I was getting to comfortable for my liking, pondering that when this is all over I probably won't see her again.

The next morning I woke up but with out Lauren there. I could hear whispering. "How was sleeping with her last night? Did you have a heated make out session?". I heard a smack, what was going on here, I pretended to be asleep for a bit longer. "Stop teasing she is going to wake up any second cause of you big mouths".
This is interesting, although I felt bad for ease dropping so I decided to slowly wake up. I said good morning then got in my routine and zoned out away from them. Coming out of a shower wrapped in a towel I hear a mix of gasps and giggling, I looked over at Lauren who had a bright red face and decided to wind her up about it. "Lauren why is your face so red? Has Normani been teasing you about that girl you like?".
She shot me a look but I couldn't tell what was going on. My social skills lack. Normani chuckled. "Yeah Lauser is head over heels for her, she should ask her on a date already". I was hurt that it wasn't me that she liked but I was happy for her as long as she was okay. "I know you should ask her already seeing as you turned down my friend Harry the other night". I went back into the bath room to get ready and dry my hair.

Going to work today, I was told there was a meeting. It was pretty boring to say the least just the logistics of the live shows and judges houses. "Camila you need to stay behind I need to talk to you". Well that sounded great. "Hey Simon what's up". I was worried and he could probably tell. "I was going to run it by you, but it's my final decision now, you are going to a Lauren's judges house for a few days, seeing as you need to write more this is the perfect chance with your inspiration right there". I just sighed knowing he was right. "You so did this on purpose, nothing is going to happen".
"What can I say, I always wanted to play matchmaker for you, nobody ever seemed good enough till now".
"It's too bad she likes someone anyways".
He laughed at me. "Have you ever thought that someone may be you".
"Um no because she has spoken about them to me".
In defeat he dropped the subject.
"You have a couple of days studio time, to go and complete the songs you have worked on".
"Thanks see you in a bit then".
I got a taxi to the studio, it seemed everybody had a few days off, before it got heated again.

I had been in the studio all day and the evening was looming ever more. I worked with the same producer so that our secrecy would be better and he would go through me and pass my work on, so nobody knew who i was. I never really knew where any of the songs ended up until the last minute or they were on the radio.
I went to the piano and started playing so he would record me.

This was a new song I had written, he needed me to sing it, so when he pitched it to the client he knew how it was suppose to sound, although everyone wanted to work with us so they weren't that bothered. Some of the stars offered a fortune to meet me and work with me personally but i refused only willing to go through the producer. I walked out into the corridor, until I heard commotion coming round the corner. I froze there was Lauren and her band mates I gathered. She saw me and I could tell immediately that she was wondering what I was doing there. "Camila what are you doing here?" Oh no think of an excuse God dammit! "Well you know I heard Justin Bieber was here, I really wanted to meet him". They all looked at me not sure whether to believe me as they know I don't care for famous people. "Well you know your not suppose to be in here, you'll get thrown out". I quickly said bye and walked off in the other direction as quickly as I could still feeling Lauren's eyes lingering on me.

Making it back to the studio we finished a few more songs that were going to be put out straight away by other artists. I've written for many famous artists and I'm still a down to earth girl that's what I love about this set up and Simon respects it.
It was about 10 o'clock at night and I decided to head back to the hotel, I had found out that they managed to get Lauren another room so I wouldn't have to share with her or be bombarded by questions.
