Curious to know you

Is it a date?

Thank You to whoever has been reading this, I try to keep it updated as much as possible but sometimes I have writers block! Enjoy :)

We arrived back at the villa swiftly letting go of each other's hands and missing the contact straight away.
We parted ways as I went and sat at the table to write.
Dinah walked in and nudged me sitting next to me. "What have you done to our Lauser she's all flustered and red?".
I invert-idly smiled at the thought of her flustered. "I didn't do anything". Thinking back to our kiss. Dinah eyed me suspiciously, "I got my eye on you, anyways we are all watching a film down stairs soon if you would like to join us".
"Okay I'll be down in a bit". I closed my note book and took it back to my room.
Lauren was sat on the bed, she looked at me as soon as I walked in holding my gaze. "Um Camila would you sit with me when we watch the film?" She asked stuttered.
"Yeah sure was you worried I would say no?".
She looked down at the floor and muttered a quick yes so I pulled her into a hug.

Later on, I walked down stairs seeing Lauren and ally on a sofa Normani on the single seater and Dinah on the other sofa so I went and sat down next to her not wanting to make a fuss, but remember I had said I would sit with Lauren. We both looked at each other but she looked away quickly as if she was hurt. I sighed sadly and moved next to Dinah to have a cuddle. I wasn't use to all of this body contact but I was definitely enjoying it, my body needed it. Dinah draped her arm around me, I quickly looked over at Lauren and caught her glaring, I think I see jealously. As the film went on Dinah was playing with my hair but I was becoming uncomfortable, however I think she was doing it on purpose as she whispered in my ear. "Just play along". "She looks like she hates me I'm going to sit over there with her".
Taking a brave step I got up and walked over to her, it was awkward because no one knew about what had happens or that we were comfortable being around each other like that. They all watched in anticipation to see what happened next. Lauren looked up at me with her gleaming but sad eyes, I sat down next to her and whispered in her ear. "I'm sorry I didn't sit next to you I didn't want anything to be awkward". I was shaking a little bit at the thought of her being mad and not being able to read her expressions. The corner of her mouth lifted with a slight smile and she lifted her arm up and pulled me onto her lap. I snuggled into her as the other girls were all looking on like proud mums. "We're you jealous?"
She looked at me like she had been caught. "Most definitely".
"She was trying to wind you up I think but it was making me a bit uncomfortable". 
"What's made you so uneasy about people?".
We were going into unknown territory.
"Another time, not right now".
"Okay babe".
I didn't think she could get any cuter until that pet name slipped out, question is what are we?
The film finished and we all decided to go to bed as we would be working tomorrow.

The next day I woke up earlier than everyone to go and sort the sound out and to test it, the villa had gotten much busier with all the crew. Lauren came down stairs in a beautiful dress, she was astonishing. Her eyes were searching all of the people until they landed on me, my heart beat pounded in my chest. One of her stylists started talking to her taking her attention away. I stood there still frozen, until I didn't realise she walked past me "see something you like" I had just been caught checking her out. We carried on with the day and I was doing the sound, through out the whole time we couldn't stop looking at each other, I'm surprised the crew hadn't noticed.
They wrapped up for the day and I made my way up to the room as I felt exhausted and drained, being in close proximity to so many people.
I leaned back on the bed letting out a breath I had been holding in, I heard the door and knew it was Lauren so I didn't get up. Suddenly I felt a body climb upon mine pressing themselves against me, I could never get use to this feeling it was insatiable. "Hey there are you okay, it seemed like you needed to get away".
I smiled at her for being so caring.
"Yeah just needed to recharge my batteries".
She leaned down closer to me pressing her lips upon mine. "May I take you out tonight?". I was shocked and ecstatic. "I would love too". There was a knock at the door. "Sorry to intrude the love fest but I just wanted to let you know everyone has left now". Ally spoke softly.
We both turned violently red and started giggling after she left. We both got ready seeing as Lauren was taking me out tonight and I had just hoped it would live up to everything I had expected it would. We walked down stairs holding hands as there was no point hiding anything from the girls, Dinah had most likely told them everything anyways. "Aw Lo has finally found someone it's so adorable" Normani chuckled. "Right we are going out before you say something embarrassing". I held onto Lauren's arm, finding comfort in it. We said bye and left the villa. "Won't people like you know recognize you out alone?"
I questioned.
"They shouldn't do, if we get made we can always run". There we go again with that wink that makes me squirm.
"How famous are you exactly?" Maybe I was delving in to deep with these questions but I just wanted to get to know her. " I'm sorry you don't have to answer that, I just don't know much about it all". She shook her head. "No it's okay I'm just not use to someone being like this that's all, I wouldn't say we are Beyoncé famous but we are well known, it's hard to trust people".
I furrowed my eye brows imagining how different my life would be if every knew who I was. We ended up at a cute restaurant which was quiet and much needed ending our night walking back along the beach holding hands. We still hadn't approached the subject of what we are but I was surprisingly okay with that, I think if all I got out of this was friend ship I would be happy as long as she was happy.
"So do you have any parents or any family? ". I was finally happy to talk about this with her as my trust in her and grown a lot. "I don't have any family at all".
She looked at me not understanding. "So how did that work? Foster care?" Funnily enough, I was about 12 when I ended up with Simon, before that is a bit of a blur, he took me in for a while and gave me things I could never dream of. "Wow I never knew that".
"Yeah no one does, can everything I tell you just stay between us please?".
"Yeah sure I wouldn't dream about telling anyone".  I was satisfied with her answer. "Can I kiss you?" I blurted out, I had the urge and she was always the one to initiate it.
"Of course you don't have to ask babe".
I smiled leaning into our kiss, gripping her waist tightly. We stayed like that for a few moments before walking back to the villa. I'm glad it hadn't got really heated, but I think we respected each other's boundaries as we shared the same bed. We walked into the living room to go and see the other girls and chat to them. They were talking about many topics, feminism and the music industry, until it reached a topic I didn't want discussing.
"You know our next album we have a song from the ghost writer". Ally informed.  "If only we knew who they were it would be great to work with them". Dinah suggested.
"They should just come out and stop hiding I don't get it".
I was getting quite mad, they obviously didn't understand the reason to stay anonymous and I couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer. "Maybe they want to live a normal life and not be harassed". I said trying to keep my cool. Lauren looked round at me. "That is a valid point, I can understand that". And I was glad that she did.

Not long after I decided to go to bed and Lauren soon followed, cuddling each other until our hearts content.
