Roomies

I woke the next morning, Lauren was still sound asleep, she was a lot closer to me than I remember since last night. Her arm was draped over me holding my waist I peeled it off me very gently and got up, we had to be on the bus early to leave for the last set of auditions in Manchester. I slowly shook Lauren very gently "wake up sleepy head, we have to leave soon". She woke up too quickly for my liking maybe she was awake the whole time. There was a knock on the door, I was a bit worried to what people will think. Lauren must have seen the look on my face because she started to reassure me. "It's okay it's just Normani she knows your here I told her when we got back last night". I relaxed straight away and got up to open the door. "Beyoncé has arrived" a blonde haired girl who I hadn't seen before came strolling in was a bit taken back. Normani followed laughing and shaking her head she gave me a hug straight away. "Fancy seeing you here" she winked at me and I just shook my head. "What happened when we left last night?" The other two girls listened in on the conversation.
"Well after you was our knight in shining armor to Lauren the security came and took the guy away and threw him out, Harry was also looking for you". Dinah was hugging Lauren. "Camila this is Dinah". I ducked my head and waved. "Come here I don't bite, besides Its nice to finally meet the girl who saved our Lauser not once but twice". I was just stood there blushing rocking back and forth on my feet, I looked at Lauren who was already looking at me and smiling. "Well it was nice to meet you but I'm gonna go now,
I'll see you on the bus".
"Yes you will indeed" Dinah winked at me.

I arrived on the bus avoiding anyone from last night. Simon was sat on his laptop always working. I freshened up then went and sat down next to him on the big corner sofa at the back of the bus. "Morning, so I hear you have been out saving people again". I just grunted at him. "I didn't mean to, I just couldn't listen to her have to take that from that guy and not do anything". He looked at me sympathetically.
"It's okay, I'm glad you did it, how's the writing coming along? You have had a lot of new inspiration recently".
"Well yeah I no longer have writers block, but not that much inspiration".
He laughed. "Oh come on you could just look at Lauren and write a thousand new songs about her".
I looked around making sure no one else was on the bus. "You know I don't do feeling so just stop".
"You can't sit here and tell me you don't have feeling..."
Thank gosh the door opened and we were interrupted, I did not like the sound of where that was going. The girls walked on the bus and sat down next to me, but not too closely. I carried writing some lyrics down along the lines of...

I could feel Normani peering over me "what you writing there?" Uh oh
"Just some words here and there you know". I closed my book and went and hid it away in my bag, when I walked back in the girls were sat in a circle.
"Come get your Butt down here we are playing truth or dare". Dinah said too excitingly.
"Normani truth or dare?" Lauren said.
"Umm truth"
Lauren thought for a minute before speaking.
"Do you think Dinah is attractive?" Oh god I can see where this is going.
"Yes I do" after a couple more goes of stupid little dares it was my turn and Normani asked me "truth or dare"
I didn't want to answer anything so I was stuck I had no choice but to say "dare" as soon as I said it I regretted it Normani and dinah had this look of cheekiness and evilness mashed into one. "Okay I dare you to sit on Lauren's lap for the remained of this game". Great I was going to have to be close to her now. I made my way over hesitantly and she opened up for me to sit down which indicated that she was okay with this. The other two girls were giggling like they had this inside joke, my face was so close to Lauren's that I could hear her breathing. I looked at her, finally seeing her face close up, she noticed and looked at me, our faces so close, I froze not knowing how to react. She held our gaze for a few seconds before looking away. I could feel her thumb on my back, she was rubbing back and forth reassuring me. "Are you okay" she whispered. "Yeah are you?". She then ignored my question. "Just relax I won't hurt you, you'll make yourself sore otherwise". But I couldn't relax I hadn't been this close to someone before, especially someone I was harbouring feelings for. We played a few more rounds until the game was over and the girls decided to watch a film. "You can get off of Lauren's lap now" Normani told me. "I'm actually quite comfortable now I think your dare backfired". She just muttered Something undetectable. I turned to Lauren and she was already looking at me but not my eyes, maybe i had something on my face if it hadn't been for the fact she went bright red, had I caught her looking at my lips?
"Is it okay if I stay here?" She tilted her head slightly. "Yeah let's cuddle though that will be more comfy". I got off her lap but left my legs over her and was pressed against her side cuddling her. This felt amazing, the most simplest thing. The film was over and we had arrived in Manchester at our hotel. I got my stuff then went to reception like everyone else to check in. We all made our way to the same floor as usual before saying bye to each other. I relaxed for a bit and did some more writing, before there was a knock at my door. I swung it open to see Lauren grinning at me shyly. "hi is everything okay?". She looked worried so I gestured for her to come in. "Yes and no...I wouldn't ask if it wasn't necessary but there are no more rooms here and Dinah and Normani have no where to stay, they both were being stubborn and have to stay in my room together and I was wondering if I could possibly share with you?". Was this really happening? I loved my private space and I would have to give it up for her.
What am i doing?
"Yeah I guess so if you have no where else to go". She started smiling which made me happy that I had caused that. "As long as I won't make you uncomfortable will I?".
I frowned that she had that thought run through her mind.
"No not at all, I'll take the sofa and you can have the bed, we will both probably be busy anyways". She rubbed her hand against her head like she was thinking. "No I'll take the couch it's your room".
Why can't she just accept my offer, I would never let her sleep on the sofa.
"Your in the bed final, end of conversation".
This girl is testing me, maybe I've met my match.
"Nope, I'm only in the bed if you are then". Well that turned around pretty quickly. "Fine stubborn ass that's a deal". She just laughed and told me she was going to get her stuff from her other room.
