Suki's PoV:

"So...am I gonna do the tests now or..." I trail off in confusion, leaving the rest of my question to them to finish.

Haruka nods along with the other Sages before answering, "I suppose now will be the best time to do them."

"Okay soooo....what do I do?"

"The first test will be-" Tyler starts to tell me but is cut off as fire and lava bursts from the ground all around us. Shock spreads through us all, and a yelp slips past my lips. Soon there's no where we can go while we are also pressed together as tightly as possible.

A rumbling, deep voice speaks in my head saying, "Suki, now is your time to repay me."

"Suki! Wha-what was that voice?!"

Huh! Jun heard him too?!

I look at the others and their expressions give me my answer. I know I need to reply to the spirt, so I ask, "what do you want me to d-do?"

"Kiss your soul mate."

"Eh?...what?!" I yell as a blush spreads across my face. "Now is not the time!"

"Just do it. It's the light blue haired boy beside you."

My green eyes widen then snap over to Tyler who stares right back just as shocked and embarrassed.

"Why?" I question once again in hopes that the spirit will answer this time.

"Do it and I'll stop the fire and lava."

John snaps, "you two just do it already, so that we all won't die!"

I gulp then turn towards Tyler as he slowly does the same. He leans forward, closing his eyes at the same time, and I hesitantly follow suite. As our lips connect, a slightly stinging sensation spreads over my upper arm and shoulder causing me to pull away in a hurry. I pull my shirt sleeve up and see two letters located on my upper arm.

"T...J," I whisper and look up at Tyler.

He slowly lifts up his shirt and...bingo. My initials are burned into his skin on his lower stomach, almost on his side. He looks up at me with confused eyes, but before he's able to ask anything, I drop to my knees, hunched over in extreme pain.

"Ahha...ngg...gaahh!"

I bite into my lip, drawing blood, trying to surpress another scream.

Tyler worriedly ask, "Suki? Wh-what's wrong?!"

He crouches down to my level and places his hand on my shoulder, but quickly pulls it away. "Gah! She feels like she's on fire!"

I slowly try to look up at Tyler-at anyone-trying to get an explanation; however, I black out instead.
