Suki's PoV:

After the meeting with the Sakurias, their butler, James, drove me to my brother's house. I had figured that at least spending a few hours with him would be fine. Oh I was wrong. As I sit here watching our favorite show and chit-chatting with him, I've realized that I have missed him a lot. I feel like being away for so long has disconnected me from my twin. There is an emptiness in my heart, and it's heavy with the thought that I'll have to leave him again soon.

"Bubba...I know I don't say it enough, but I love you so much. I've...missed you," I say, tears swelling up.

He smiles gently and agrees, "yeah, you're right, you don't say it enough. I love and missed you too."

Bub lays his head on my shoulder, brown hair falling into his light green eyes, and changes the subject. "The new maid has been nice and helpful so far."

"That's good to hear."

I've missed this. Sitting with him rambling on about different things then changing them just as quickly. The way I don't have to put up any guards, not to say that I do with my friends. It's just different with my brother. My twin. I can't really explain it, you'd have to have siblings to understand.

"Sis, don't you think you should be going? It has gotten kinda late, and you have a meeting with your team early tomorrow," he says firmly, reminding me that I have responsibilities to attend to.

I sigh. He's right, and I know it. Nodding my head, I pull my shoes back on then stand up. I grab my phone off the wooden table and dial my driver. After having a short conversation with him, I turn back to my brother and hug him tightly. I'll miss this too.

The team meeting went as it usually does. There was just a bunch of boring information about news from other teams, and like usual, I almost fell asleep. Captain Eno had given me a sharp look and that was the end of that. The only difference was that they curiously asked about my meeting with the Sakurais. I told them that nothing really happened, although that I'll be training with Eshima from now on.

"Wow! Training with your arch rival! You are so going to tell me how it feels!" Jun rambled excitedly, his eyes alive with curiosity.

I sighed and shook my head at them. I had given them a look that said to leave the mocking out.

Currently, I am getting ready for a mission. The first one I'll have bonded with Kane.

At least I have something to look forward to.

I think you will have plenty of fun testing out your new abilities.

I grin to myself as I put my bag on my back and attach my sword to my side. I glance up into the mirror, and, after checking myself, I exit my room.

I walk to the gate that is located on the other side of the campus. While on my way, I look at the things around me. Other students are practicing, studying, or just chilling with friends. The campus itself is mostly clean, every once n a while you'll see some garbage laying around.

Once at the gates, I notice I am the first one there, so I take out my phone and text my brother a good afternoon. A little later, he texts back. For the next 10 minutes, bub and I text back and forth telling the other how each of our day has been so far.

I hear the crunching of gravel underfoot and look up. Jun is heading my way with Emiko by his side. Each great me with smiles, and I do the same.

I ask as patiently as I can, "have you guys seen Aratani? I want to go as soon as possible."
