Suki's PoV:

Ow my head is going to explode!

I crack an eye open to survey my surroundings. The room is a soft grey color, and I'm laying in a bed; however, what actually catches my attention is a mop of light blue hair on the bed. I open the other eye and run my fingers through Tyler's hair.

It's surprisingly softer than I thought.

He lets out a small groan, surprising me, and slowly sits up. Our eyes meet then, in the next moment, he pulls me into a hug.

"O-oh!" I yep, a red color dusting my cheeks.

"I'm so glad you're okay," Tyler whispers against my shoulder. He pulls back to look at me and smiles bitterly. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to help ease the pain."

"Do you happen to know...why I started to hurt so badly?"

He pauses for long enough to understand the question then opens his mouth. "It was the Elemental fire spirit entering your body. Which means...you are officially the fire Sage."

"...what?"

Tyler rubs my cheek in reassurance, and we lock eyes. "I know it's a lot to take in so soon...but I think you can do it."

I look down, mumbling,"ok. I'm still skeptical though."

He sighs, probably in frustration while I get up out of the bed. I look around again, this time actually taking everything in.

The door on the other side of the room opens and in steps my team. Captain Endo sighs in relief as his shoulders slump, Jun grins at me, and the two females crush me in a tight hug. I loose my breath, and Tyler notices.

"Girls, she can't breathe!" he hisses while pulling me out of the hug.

"Sorry!" They say in unison. Aratani scratches her neck, and Emiko looks away, a pink color dusting her tanish cheeks.

I smile, "it's fine, guys. But why are you all here?"

My captain sighs, "because you weren't well. We came to visit you."

"Oh."

Tyler chuckles softly behind me, and I turn towards him with a pout. He grins wider.

Jun teases, "soo...you two get it on yet?"

I stare wide eyed at my best male friend. Tyler glares at him, although it doesn't have any affect on the ravenette.

"What? Not even a kiss since the first one?" Jun grins.

"Why you little!"

Tyler chases Jun around the room. The Sage almost catching the mage before the door opens again and Haruka grabs Tyler by the collar, stopping the chase in it's tracks.

A giggle passes between my lips. Tyler looks up at me with curious silver eyes and red dusting his cheeks.

"Wha-what's that look fo-for?" I ask, suddenly feeling self-conscious.

He hums, "nothing really just...you sound-look...cute."

We stare back at one another, us both trying to figure out what the other is thinking. It doesn't last long though as Haruka speaks.

"Um, sorry to interrupt, but we need to get going you two."

I raise a brow at her while also trying to cover up my embarrassment. "Go where?"

"To test out your powers."

This is...going to get complicated, isn't it?

You're right, Suki.

Wha! The heck?!

You'd think that by now you would understand my voice. However, I guess your mind is just too miniscule for such things.

Hey! That's rude you a-

Do you even know what I am?

...you are the...Elemental fire spirit. The spirit that controls all fire in existence.

Ah, so you aren't as stupid as I thought.

Why I outta!-

"We're here, John, Raiden!" Tyler shouts in excitement, his words echoing through the training hall. This particular one is used by mages training to improve their fire using.

I think I see where this is going.

Raiden smiles widely at us and slings an arm over my shoulders. "You ready, Suki?"

Tyler smacks Raiden's arm off me and replies, "course she is. But you better watch your hands."

"Okay, lover boy. I will gladly not touch the princess."

"Oh shut it," he hisses.

Raiden rolls his dark blue eyes then looks at me. The older male laughs, "let's get started! This is gonna be fun."

Tyler: oh yes, soo much fun.

Author: stop it with the sarcasm. Only I am aloud to be sarcastic.

Suki: but that sounded pretty sarcastic.

Jun: I'm so confused!

Endo: that wasn't though.

Author: sorry readers for not publishing for a while and for this being so short. I had some final projects and work to do for school. But now! School is over! So I can spend more time writing!

Tyler: more like sitting on your butt watching anime.

Author: ...yeah, that too.
