Hazel's POV:
"RIIIIING!"
"Heck yeah! School is OUT!!!" I thought as I grabbed my backpack from under my desk and quickly rushed out of my 6th period classroom.
After I finally got pass the sea of students in the halls, I walked outside and began to walk home. I started to hum a tune to one of my favorite songs, Blackbird. I actually didn't live to far from school, so the walk wasn't actually that bad. I was really looking forward to watching Naruto after I finished my homework, and luckily I didn't have much. I soon arrived at my house and knocked on the door.
" Hey Mom, I'm home!"
I heard some shuffling and footsteps before the door clicked and my mom opened the door.
" Hey," I greeted her.
" Hello sweetie! So how was school today? Do you have much homework?" she asked me giving me what I saw to be a fake smile.
I really don't know if it was a real smile of not. This might have been just me, but I felt like I didn't really share a real connection with my parents. Sure, they were nice to me, but I felt they didn't really love me. After all, my older brother James was the favorite child. I don't know, maybe I'm just being stupid.
" School was boring as usual. Also, I don't have much homework today, only math, and it's pretty easy." I replied.
" Okay, sounds good! Go upstairs and finish your homework. Then you can do whatever you want until dinner is ready."
I gave my mom a nod and headed upstairs to my room. Along the way I greeted my dad, who was watching sports on TV. After I walked up the stairs, I knocked on my brother's door.
" Hey James, can I come in?" I asked my brother.
"Sure," he replied.
I turned the knob and walked into his room. He greeted me with a big bear hug.
" Hazel, I really missed you!" he exclaimed as he spun me around.
" But we saw each other in the morning before school started." I said, sweat dropping.
" But it feels like it's been forever!" James whined.
Even though I didn't really share a real bond with my parents, I did feel really close to James. I guess it was one of those rare situations where your brother was actually nice to you. He actually really enjoyed watching Naruto just like me. Even though he was four years older than me, being 16, he acted like the younger sibling. I wasn't too mature myself, but to me, James was a big baby.
" James, I've gotta go to my room and finish homework. I was just dropping by to say hello."
" Okay, fine...." he pouted. " ...but hurry up and finish so we can watch Naruto together!"
" Sure thing, bro." I said smiling as I walked out of his room.
I got to my room a pulled out my math homework, and quickly finished it. I slammed the book shut and yelled, " Yayz! I'm doneeeeeee!"
James must have heard me, because he burst into my room.
" You're done? Let's watch Naruto now!"
I nodded as I pulled out my laptop. We were on Shippuden, watching the fillers before the Fourth Great Ninja War. After watching about three episodes, our mom called us down for dinner.
At the dinner table, my brother liked to explain to my parents about the Naruto episodes that we watched. They didn't really seem to get it, but they listened anyway.
" And then Naruto used Rasengan on his mask, and guess who it was? It was Obito! I could't believe it!" James explained to our parents.
After dinner I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and told all of my family good night. As I climbed in bed, I couldn't help but wonder, "I really wonder what it's like to be a ninja and live in Konoha."
I quickly fell asleep and was consumed with darkness.
I suddenly woke up, but I wasn't in my room. I was in some kind of black, empty void.
" Huh? Where am I?" I asked to particularly no one.
" Your name is Hazel Wattson, correct?" a voice boomed out of no where.
" Wha-? Who are you?" I asked, starting to panic.
" When you wake up you are to go by the name Murasaki Tanaka." the voice boomed again, seeming to ignore my question.
My vision was starting to go white.
" Hey, wait!" I said.
My eyes opened seconds later. Scanning my surroundings, I noticed that I was surrounded by trees and appeared to be in a forest. I looked to my right and oddly there sat my backpack. I opened it and looked through its contents. It contained my phone, laptop, and a couple Naruto books.
" What the.... Where the heck am I?" I asked myself.
Just as those words left my mouth, I turned my head. My jaw dropped. There in the distance, were the hokage stone faces. But as I narrowed my eyes at it, I noticed something peculiar. Where was the Fourth Hokage's face? Then a sudden realization hit me. " I'm stuck in Naruto, and he's not even born yet".

A/N: Wow that actually took a lot longer than I thought! I think this is a pretty good start for someone who's not great at writing. Anyway, thanks for taking time to read my story!
Till next time,
