Chapter 23 - Reunion

Murasaki's POV:

Pain. Pain was the first thing I felt. Kakashi's arm had pierced my body. I looked down at his arm, then up at him. His gaze was a mixture of many emotions. There was sadness, shock, horror, and so many more. A single tear escaped from him. I gave him a pained, but small smile. 

" Hey... it's going to be okay..." I whispered.

I then chocked out a massive amount of blood before starting to fall backwards. Kakashi caught my shoulder, holding me up. He pulled his arm out of me. He suddenly looked very tired and started to waver. Kakashi soon let go of his grip on my shoulder, allowing me to fall to the ground.

" Murasaki!" Rin screamed. 

Then, everything around me faded to black.

Obito's POV:

I saw Murasaki's body fall to the floor. Kakashi just dropped her body like she was some old doll. Was that all she was to him!? I thought I had told him to protect both Rin and Murasaki. Turns out I was wrong to trust him. 

I couldn't take it anymore. I started to scream. The Mist Shinobi turned to me, exchanging questions. 

" I won't except it.... YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND!!!" I screamed.

" What a fool, " one of them said, " jumping in alone!" 

He threw several shuriken towards me, but they went right threw, not even leaving a single scratch.

" I WILL NOT EXCEPT ANY OF THIS!"

I then charge towards them. My mind went blank, and all I could think of was how badly I wanted to kill.

Rin's POV:

After Murasaki collapsed I started to run towards her. 

' No. Not again. I can't loose another friend. Not like this.'

I soon reached her and knelt down beside her. I glanced at Kakashi. He had passed out from using too much chakra. 

Tears were streaming down my face. I was really hard to see one of your best friends in a condition, especially like this. I dried my tears on my sleeve and forced myself to concentrate.

I gently lay my ear over Murasaki's body, listening for a heart beat. I almost let out a cry of relief. I had heard a heartbeat. It was slow, but hey, she was still alive. 

The hole in her body was huge, it was a miracle she still had a heart beat. She was really lucky Kakashi had barely missed her heart. I placed my hands a few inches above the hole and started to preform my medical ninjutsu. It wasn't enough to completely heal her, but I could keep her alive a little longer.

I was then interrupted by a scream.

" I won't except it.... YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND!!!"

' What? Who was that?'

I turned to the direction of where it had come from. And who I saw... it was Obito.

' Wait, WHAT? That can't be him, I thought he was dead! I saw him with my own eyes getting buried under boulders! Am I seeing things straight?'

My mind was racing. So many questions were popping up in my head. I wanted to call out to him, but I couldn't find my voice.

He started charging towards the Mist Shinobi, killing them with techniques I would never dream of. I watched as he killed more and more people. No... this wasn't right, I had to stop him. 

I looked down at Murasaki. I would be gone just for a bit. I hope she would be fine.

I stood up.
