Chapter 6 - Mystic Blue Fire

A/N: Sorry I wasn't able to post this weekend. I was way busier than I thought. But anyways, Happy Easter everyone, and thanks for 100 reads!

Murasaki's POV:

It's been almost a week since I've been meeting Obito after team training to learn fire style, and actually I've been getting closer to mastering it. Just two days ago I was able to do it.

Flashback:

" Alright let's try this again." Obito said confidently.

I've been at it for almost three hours and still, nothing was happening, and it was almost time for Obito to go home.

" Alright," I sighed, " Just one more time. I don't want to keep you here too long."

He nods as I perform the hand signs and yell " Fire style: Fire ball jutsu!"

Just as I said those words a brilliant blue fire left my mouth. It wasn't as good as Obito's but at least I did it.

" Yeah! Finally I was able to do something!" I shout in triumph at the sky. 

" Woah.... That was cool!  Your fire was blue instead of orange how did you do that?" 

" Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. But when I tested my chakra nature with the litmus paper, it lit up in blue flames..." I reply looking at my hands. 

" Well, I think that's enough for today. Meet me here tomorrow though, I think we can perfect it." Obito said as he headed towards the direction of his house.

*Flashback End*

" Fire style: Fire ball jutsu!" I shout as an inferno of blue fire emits from my mouth.

" I think that was pretty good! What do you think Obito?" I asked turing to him.

" Hm? I think it was pretty good!" he said giving me a thumbs up." I think you've pretty much mastered it!"

" Really? You think so?" I ask excitedly.

He nods.

" Heck yeah! I can show the team tomorrow!" I shout fist pumping into the air. 

" I bet even you could impress Kakashi with it." Obito says with a smug expression.

" Maybe. Anyways, thank you so much for teaching me this Obito! I really appreciate it!" I say smiling.

" It was no problem. Really." he said returning my smile.

" I'm going to head back now. Thanks again Obito, and see you tomorrow!" I call as I run towards the direction if my house. 

" Bye Murasaki!" he calls.

Timeskip to the next day:

" Idiot! wake up!" a voice shouts in my ear.

" Huh...? Wha...? I say sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

" You're late!" Kakashi hisses.

" Eh...? Kakashi!? What are you doing in my house!?" I say alarmed.

" I was waiting for you, but you never showed up at my door. So I came here." he says clearly annoyed.

" I'm late.....?" I ask myself the thought registering in my mind. " Shoot! I'm late!" I say fully waking up.

I rush to my bathroom to brush my teeth and I hear Kakashi telling me that he will wait outside my door. Then I throw on my clothes, rush to the kitchen, grab a banana and open my door. 

" Took you long enough. I think we might be later than Obito." Kakashi grumbles.

" Sorry Kakashi." I hum as I take a bite of my banana.

" We should run" he says.

I nod and we take off.

When we reached the training grounds, everyone was waiting. Even Obito was already there.

" We've been waiting for ever, why are you too so late? Even I was earlier than you!" Obito exclaims.

" I was waiting for this idiot. She got up late." Kakashi replies glaring at me.

" Aww! Looks like Kakashi cares about someone!" Obito teased.

I just laughed along with the comment while Kakashi looked away....blushing?

" Anyways," Minato says interrupting, " Lets start. Murasaki, Obito told me about this new jutsu you were working on. Care to demonstrate?"

I nod excitedly, walking over to an open area. I quickly and skillfully preform the hand signs, and shout, " Fire style: Fire ball jutsu!"

A blazing, brilliant blue blaze erupts from my mouth and into the open air. Obito stands there looking proud, while Minato, Rin and Kakashi stand there looking simply amazed.

" What do you guys think?" I ask them.

" That's really cool Murasaki!" Rin said smiling.

" Obito said you were able to learn it in just a week. You've got skill." said Minato.

" I guess it was ok..." mumbled Kakashi.

" You know, I was thinking of giving it a different name since it's blue." I state.

" That's a good idea." replied Obito.

" I was thinking how about Fire style: Mystic blue fire?" I say confidently.

" That has a nice ring to it." Rin said smiling.

A/N: Eh, the ending was kind of bad but oh well. The chapter was a little short too. Hope you guys had a great Easter!
